Hello! Do you work for this company? Does the pattern suggest which fabric to use? Does it say the steps or order of sewing the pieces? Thanks
Hi !! Yes, I'm the Canadian distributor , the pattern is designed for stretch or non stretch fabric, besides this you can look for fabric options depending the personal style you are looking for on fabric stores or internet. For the sewing, they came marked with letters as sewing steps A B C, but you can also follow a detailed instructions from a commercial patterns or a book. Hope this answer your question 😊 !
@LutterlohSystem Thank you! I have another question. Does the system suggest the amount of fabric that is needed for the specific pattern?
Yes, they have the amount of fabric specified on each pattern, take a look of any video of the supplements and you'll see the numbers after the # of the pattern, is the amount of fabric you need. For example: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g2edmI-Cds7Zp8o.html
Dankeschön, fürs Vorführen 👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🤗
Thank you for your comments
what i dislike about these kits is it's mostly dresses, for someone who hates wearing dresses it really cuts down on the choices of patterns. Also it's made for the more experience sewers as it doesn't give any instructions on how to sew each patterns.
It would be nice for some explanations on 242 of this supplement, I cannot figure it out for the life of me
Hi Deborah, I was looking for this but this supplement doesn't have any 242 style.
You are gorgious! 🤩😍😉👌🏼 Very nice sewing! 😊
Thank you Brigitte!! 😊
Thanks for showing this. Looks like it's time to update my system. Most of my wearable makes are Lutterloh.
Thank you for highlighting a pattern that I'd overlooked.
There are so many patterns and options!! Hope you enjoy your sewing and share your creations with us!
Thank you for your videos. ❤ from Antwerp / Belgium.
Thank you!! Greetings from Montreal to Belgium 👋
I also wanted to make a short sleeved pattern long sleeved. When I exerted the length it did not look correct.
hmm this maybe needs a video to explain better, which pattern are you working on? send us the info by email to service @ lutterloh.ca
English with a hint of German lol. I came looking for how to assemble the pattern I cut out.
English with a Spanish base with a hint of French lol. Take a look of the little letters to joint A-A , B-B, you can also look for a similar project sew along on you tube. Happy sewing

Hiya, I’ve never heard of this system before & it is completely new to me so please would you mind explaining a few things - what size do the patterns go up to?? & am I right in thinking that you buy the whole folder?? & also if you buy any of the other supplements will they fit in the folder as well or do you have to buy other folders?? I really hope you will answer my questions please & thank you so much for sharing this information with us 😁 cause if you hadn’t I would never have known about it 😁 love from Bev in the UK 🇬🇧 xx
Hi Bev, Happy that you came through this video! ... you will be surprised !! With only two measurements you can make perfect patterns at home. the regular system go from 50cm (babies) up to 140cms hip / bust contour , the XXL go up to 180cms. In the main kit you have the scale that it's an important tool, and 280 patterns!! you can add more patterns with the seasonal supplements. To see all the details about how the Lutterloh System works take a look at this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q5dpj9adpdaWoNI.html
Thanks for mentioning which supplements. I love my Lutterloh and should pull them out and get ideas again.
Enjoy your Lutterloh patterns!! Happy sewing ;)
Très bien expliqué !!!
Merci Jocelyne! ☺️❤️
Thank You, for sharing I love the grey pants, and enjoyed your makes. I also subscribed, looking forward to watching more.💖

Gracias por mostrarlo. Deseando salga a la venta en España
Debe estar muy pronto por alla! Saludos
Thanks Alot very explanatory
Glad that it helps you with your pattern drafting !
Will this system rerelease.
We have all the ancient and new patterns at lutterloh.ca
Thank you very much for this very understandable video ! , I am really interested in trying some of the Lutterloh patterns that I have that say they are for knit/stretch fabrics. The amount of stretch varies in fabric, so I am not sure if that would make a big difference to the finished size ? Thank you again for your time making this video.
Thank you for your comment! Choose a stretch % according at your project, for a bath suit will be more % of stretch than for a blouse or a jogging, Ask for the better fabric that suit your needs at the fabric store.
@@LutterlohSystem Thank you very much for this information.
When I photocopy the patterns, is there any reason I cannot enlarge the pattern on the printer? The original is small and I find it hard to see all the lines and measurements. Should not the center mark stay in the same spot, even if the pattern itself is enlarged?
Hi there, yes you can enlarge them a little to help you see the little numbers and lines. Happy sewing!
@@LutterlohSystem Thank you. This will be a big help. I kept missing numbers to mark!
Can one use the vest measurements for a normal dress ,or do I need a pattern for it?
Hi, you can always modify a basic pattern, so you can use the vest pattern as base for some ideas . If you are looking for something specific you can also look for a pattern ready inside all the collection of Lutterloh Patterns.
Great video! It's nice seeing the patterns come to life. Seeing how the finish garments are on you is great! Please, do all the sew alongs!
I have an older version of Lutterloh System International. Do I cut the patterns out of the back of the book to use for measuring or were patterns supposed to be with the book. Your video inspired me to use this gem I've had for years!
Hi, you can always photocopy the patterns from an old book, to don't cut the original!
Could you tell me what the numbers are on the front next to the pattern number - for instance 150 x 100cm
Hi ! , This numbers indicated the quantity of fabric you need, calculated with a 94 cm bust and 100 hips.
Thank you I
Hello, once I have the patterns ready, how do I know what you I sew first? the instructions ?
Hi Sara, the system is a drafting pattern system , it comes with little letters to show the steps and pieces to join, A with A , B with B , C with C an so on. you can also use a sewing book to follow the sewing steps. If you are a beginner choose a pattern with few pieces to start, you will be learning on each project! And have fun !
I have a question, you drew the front, what about the back? thanks!
Hi Sara, to draft the back are the same steps, with the little back pattern.

I love watching your sew-a-longs when they are in English. I watch when in another language but prefer English. 👍👍
Thank you so much!
This is my year to really dig into my Lutterloh patterns. Thank you for great inspiration! 🌼🌺🌸
Thank you @suzysewsnv4445 , I can't wait to see your makes !!
Me encanta este método. Todos los modelos que has confeccionado me encantan, y las transformaciones realizadas un acierto
@Aniss900 , muchas gracias!
Hi Marisol! 😃 Very beautiful projects! 😍🤩 You make me want to take up sewing again, which I've neglected a little lately... 🫣🫣☺️ Great idea this video! 😉 See you shortly?!! 😉😘😘
Hi @brigittevelleville5993 ! Thank you so much, happy to inspire you to continue sewing🥰 ... see you soon!
Please, please, please……more sewalongs. ❤️❤️❤️ Can you please show us the make of the first dress you showed in a fabric that not crease to much (not polyester).
Thank you @beajannis2968 , certainly that dress can be made on lovely fabrics that does not crease like denim, cotton with some treatment anti-winkle , wool or rayon.
@@LutterlohSystem light denim wil be lovely.
@@beajannis2968 I agree!
I love the projects! It's motivating to see the results, they look very nice!
Thanks so much! 😊 ... Glad you like them!
I have your system but got discouraged because even when I followed the instructions, it didn't fit well. They are made for a slim figure. I am not a large person, just fuller than the patterns.
Hi Kathy, you can start by fitting the vest pattern to know your personal fit and measurements to enjoy all the possibilities that the system offers. Thank you
I will watch your videos and hopefully it will help me in figuring it all out.
Ok, I will go ahead and try that.
Me too because I struggle with fit. I am not slim at all. I am larger and would love these pattern to fit me.
@ZeldaSews I am so glad I am not the only one. Thank you and good luck in your journey to make these patterns work for you.
Hi, could you tell me, where can I get summer’s patterns?….thank you
Hi, visit our website lutterloh.ca , in some days we will be available the images.
Hi, please do u ship to nigeria
Not us, but you can find it maybe on your Bernina store.
Envia pro Brasil ?
Sorry, but didn't you also draw and cut out pockets? I didn't understand where these were sewn in. In the video, I can only see the zippers for the pockets and this mash fabric in the inside, but not the pockets. Can you please explain where they are? How were these sewn in?
Hi Cati, I drew the pockets , but as you could see in the video (39:28 min.), I cut in the mesh fabric the front , to have the pocket and the front facing together, so this one piece of mesh works as pocket and facing, and is the one that is sewn in. Yes, inside you can see your hand thought the mesh fabric, you can use an other fabric of course, I already had this kind of sport wear mesh fabric.
