I’ve got immense guilt for I have left dwarfs behind. It was a routine mission, nothing we haven’t seen before. But something was… off. The cavern we were diving in was extremely hazardous, one wrong slip and your off into the deep dark. We came across a massive ore deposit across a deep trench, we made zip lines from one narrow rocky bridge to another. Then a whole swarm of bugs hit us full force. It was chaos and in that chaos my dwarf comrades fled to get a better position but slipped and fell, I’m low on equipment and ammo. I reluctantly run and gather the remainder of resources that we needed and bolted for the exit. I lost 3 brothers that day

this is one of the most treasured moments i share as a Gunner main. Radiation Exclusion zone-Mining expedition. While we went back up to the drop pod this green beard driller couldn’t find his way out of the final part of the cave. The engineer on our team said we were going to leave him, but i just ‘We?’ to myself and went straight back down to get him. We both escaped the geiger clicking depths and reached the drop pod alive. The Gunner is a class for those dedicated to their team first, and the mission second. he is The Defender. *NO DWARF LEFT BEHIND!*

I always thought DRG was something more. This is not just a game about dwarves, fun and digging, this is a game that really forces you to cooperate, stick together, and, in the end, leave no one behind. I like how the game, through a ton of fun, in a thin thread essentially tells us a really serious story about a corrupt company that uses dwarves just as a thing, DRG does not care about safety, precautions, or even the workers themselves. And it seems that the only one who is even a little worried about our dwarves is Mission control. Yes, he looks like just an evil boss who is simply fed up with everything, but during the promotion, he praises us and I think that this is not feigned. Mission control is only at first glance quite angry, but in reality, he loves his employees and is proud of them. In general, there are a lot of thoughts about DRG, I don’t think that in some places I was able to convey my idea correctly, especially considering that I am writing from a translator, and the translation may not be correct lmao. I love the difference between drg and hd2. In drg its "no dwarf left behind!" And "to the droppod!" Whereas in hd2 (at least in my experience) it becomes "extraction is optional!" Serenaded by "complete the mission!"s. The simple fact of having a revive mechanic completely changes how we see our characters

Just started playing Sky again after stopping for like a year. When i first started, i didn't even know that all of the avatars were real people. Therefore, i randomly make friend at first. After playing for a week, i began to know more about the game and its mechanism. I feel more scared to socialize after i knew it was all real people. U can say I'm an independent player and i did all of my spirit alone. Then, one day i discover the sanctuary island. There's this spirit that's so hard for me to do since im still a beginner at that time. After a while, I've been thinking to quit finishing that spirit and give up but then this one person join me. Because of that person joining, that mission gets more fun to do. After we done it, i get so excited so happy. We honk at each other and spins around. I thought it was going to end just like that because I'm not brave enough to make friend but then that person reach out first. I couldn't tell u how timid i was but fr, I'm actually very introvert at that time and my social anxiety is really high. I want to make friend but I'm scared. Luckily, that person made the first move and so we became friend!! Actually i don't know their gender is and I'm scared to mistook their gender. I call them Niki, a very cool person and chill. They were the one that actually teach me a lot about Sky and i like talking with them. Yk what's so funny though? We only get to play together for total 3 days if I'm not mistaken. Even on that short amount of time we spent, there's still a lot of memories and words i couldn't get out. It's like my first time experiencing someone talking so softly to me. Even on that short amount of time, they did a lot of impact on me and build my personality a lot on sky. They got to left sky though since they need to focus on study. I thought they only left for a while and will come back soon.. but i was wrong. I kinda regret not reading their text throughfully. It's been like 2 years maybe, and I'm still waiting for u to come back and lit my candle. I wanna watch the rainbow together still. I wanna tell u about the past seasons i get to experience. I've change now and are more sociable, especially on the internet and i think it's all because of u. If i could, i really wanna meet u for one last time. It's always person u met from China, huh?😔 After i left, i tried making new friends but it didn't feel the same. Slowly, playing sky kinda make me burnt out and so i stopped playing for a year but then i started again this year. But i never delete this game y'know!! Me and my buddy are Greenbeards, but I’ll never forget my first run with Gunner. He played Scout, because he likes to max a character before he moves on- conversely, I’m down to play whatever character is needed, regardless of if I have them maxed. It was an elimination mission, and I had thought of riding my zip line to stay out of the line of fire. We had gone back and forth before the mission on what perks to bring- he brought dash as his active, and I was using Iron Will, though he disapproved. The Dreadnought had us dead to rights. My friend went down first, so I prepared to go get him by jumping from my zip line. I was getting ready to move out when a mactera shot me down from my zip line. We sat there in collective shock for a moment as I went down, already accepting the mission as a loss. And then I noticed ‘Activate Iron Will!’ And the sheer adrenaline and joy I felt was near indescribable. I revived him just quick enough to get him before I went down again, screaming all the while. We completed the mission, all because of a perk and a dream. Rock and Stone, Miners! Rock and Stone.

I remembered I first met a veteran in Daylight Praire the 2nd day in Sky. Her name is Sakura and she's really nice. She helped me in Golden Wasteland and Eden. She stayed by my side all the time. She was literally the BOMB. She was AWESOME. The last time I saw her online was at Wasteland. And then I never saw her again. I made a friend in china on here and we named each other, he named me Ai and I named him Aria. We would play together really often and he would tell me about all the music he loved and instruments he could play, then one day he just vanished and I think about him really often. I know that this video is old but I once went back to get a green beard who had gotten downed as we were about to get back an oppressor spawned right in front of us I told him to make a break for the drop pod where our other teammates were waiting. He made it back with three seconds to spare i let out one last rock and stone before I went down to the gas pod all I hear before they leave is the grean beard yell over mic "engi no"
