    I worked for a man in San Francisco back in 1967 who had a green morgan. The strangest thing about the car, I felt, was the deceits, rather than having Springs and some sort of padding material, we're like a balloon and they were filled with air. What a beautiful car.

    @@bigolow641 Ya. Lots of 426 cars with column shift automatic. Around here we call them "Mennonite Cars". By the time he got to picking out the interior style he had blown his wad on the drivetrain and wheel options and had nothing left. So went with no frills no cost column mounted. I've owned a ton of Chrysler products and wouldn't be caught dead with column shift auto.

Rust bucket bodies, bad brakes, slop handling, unreliable, gas guzzler, and SLOW, even a modern V-6 can blow them away. I would seriously stop talking about a fiberglass hood that was 4K ,,,,,, Are you trying to cater to the uber rich/stupid crowd ? Its a nice car altho most dont know that the Boss really was a grande with a hot motor in it. Not nearly as nice as the CJ Mach 1s of that same year. But a nice Boss car none the less. Sometimes its best to let the cars reputation sell itself and not let your lack of knowledge get in the way of it.

  • @theclassiccarconnection3420

    Kyle, Thanks so much for your comments but the Grande only came in a coupe and not a fastback.

  • @kylevantassel7259
    @kylevantassel72596 жыл бұрын

    Oh boy , here we go. Look at the interior of the Boss you have there. If its the way it came from ford it has high back seats but not Mach 1 seats. These seats were found in the Grande . As well as the door panels and so forth. Looking at yours there you have the Better door panels so I wonder about their originality. I have the interior out of a Acapulco blue Boss in my loft . The drag pack keeping the car locked to the ground ??????? Ford found out that they were getting a bunch of warranty claims from dealers in the south west states on engines . This turned out to be from Customers who had the lower ratios as an option and running them all out in the heat on the highway . The oil cooler mitigated this issue and the claims were reduced. Now on a car like the Boss that was made for more than straight line racing , this was an advantage to keep the engine happy. However your comments about making it stick or lockup to the ground better is way out of left field. I see these "Commercials" more and more on youtube by folks that are trying to sell these things and asking crazy over the top prices and just have no idea what they are talking about. You have a great car there and someone took some care when modifying it. Ask a million dollars for it if you wish but dont try and over inflate what it is or isnt with alot of talk , some of which is way off base.

Funny enough I went to survey a 69 sportsroof for a guy yesterday that DID NOT have the grande seats and interior pieces and your video was echoing in my head .. :)
