Jai Rian Grow Your Food

Jai Rian Grow Your Food

My channel shows and explains methods to grow more food in less time and space.
I am now on a mission to help as many people as possible to grow their own food inexpensively. It is such a fun and rewarding process which I hope everyone can experience. Growing food involves so many fun activities which can be as easy as you want. There is nothing better than harvesting some of your own homegrown produce.
I also show the other aspects of garden maintenance like fence and maintaining a neat place to enjoy.

    My 2 year old apple tree has powdery mildew on all the leaves. Should I cut all the branches off so as not to infect my new 1 yr old tree?

    A sound tip, but doesn't work if you want the nice side of panel facing in towards the garden. Not sure if the will work with vertical closed board panels, as they are heavy

  • @jairiangrowyourfood6659
    @jairiangrowyourfood6659 Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching, this video was just to say that you can use your grass clippings in a pot, normally i use all my grass clippings in my compost heap along with kitchen waste, card board, dry leaf, egg shells, some horse manure,coffee grounds, wood chips etc etc in a ratio of about 60 nitrogen and 40 carbon, all the browns are carbon, greens along with manure is nitrogen, egg shells got calcium carbonate for strong roots, banana peels got potassium, vitamin, mineral for strong plants. Hope this helps. Thank you

    I regularly cut the odd mildewed leaf off our apple trees. It only effects the leaves at the end of each branch. It keeps it under control and is oddly satisfying when you've finished and look at your tree covered in healthy green leaves.

    @@45graham45 I mean thickness (approx 40 or 50 mm) not width to fit the recess in the concrete posts. I did use this method to fit my panels, but you need a stable platform for safety
