I think it'll be hard to get a physical copy now, most comic book websites I check it looks to be sold out. IDW Publishing has a limited version with a black/white cover but it's $25 usd. eBay has a few listings but prices went up. You might wanna try asking a local comic book shop in your area? I don't know if they could order it for you. If you want it digitally I know you can go to Amazon and get it for the Kindle, or use Google Play Books.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not on board with Toralei and Clawdeen as a ship like Clawdeen Toralei has bullied you're best friends and little sister.Them being together is weird considering all that Toralei did. I'm just saying Skelita Calaveras, Jinafire Long, Catrine DeMew were right there. Also, Toralei is the only one with a lesbian pin. Clawdeen doesn't have a pin at all of any sexuality I don't get why they're comfortable of showing Toralei sexuality but not Clawdeen? I feel if they cut Ghoulia's subplot and explain how Toralei and Clawdeen became an thing I would be on board. Like did any of her friends have push-back on Toralei. I feel they accept Clawdeen being queer but not being on board with Toralei. I just want details it's not a bad story but I feel somethings missing. Not much to say on the 2nd story it's super cute.

Honestly, I've never shipped Clawdeen with any character because of how disinterested in romance she seemed. Toralei being her girlfriend feels so random to me. I'm not even sure if it was a popular ship. I always saw Clawdeen x Venus or Clawdeen x Draculaura art personally. I think Clawdeen looks good with Viperine based on that one 2-pack. Idk, it kinda feels like their together literally because they were main characters who were both single when G1 ended.

Theres something so refreshing about the development of G3 Toralei's character, The way it just embaraces how poingniant her situation trully is and takes its time to explore her feelings in a way G1 NEVER FRIGGING BOTHER DOING! case in point, the fact that she had a "redemption arc" at the end of the scarier reef movie that went over people's heads so much so that nobody remembers yet ITS THE ONE THREAD, the one SLIVER The G1 toradeen shipers (lets be real, its mostly lesbian clawdeen enthusiasts) CLING TO in order to justify that ship making any scence in G1, as opossed to G3 that in my opinion did a LOT better actually putting The ground work for people to be invested in toradeen

I don't mind Clawdeen and Toralei as a couple, honestly. The ending of Great Scarrier Reef, and in general some of the webisodes have shown them to get along in a frenemy way, and it's a cat/dog dynamic. In general I feel like Toralei isn't as much of an irredeemable person the comments make her out to be. I'm very glad they didn't go with the dracudeen route, at least.

I already responded to this as a different comment but Ill write it here: I really would have chosen Cleo if I had to chose Toreli with anyone with G1 but even then I would NEVER want to split up Duece and Cleo. But Clawdeen? I know Toreli was a bully to her and her friends but besides that, they didn't have any depth to them. It felt really out of the blue. I would have preferred making up a totally different character to have G1 Clawdeen with. They should have just made the comic about G3 Toreli and Clawdeen. Or Cleo and Frankie since that's what they're doing in the show. I actually don't understand why they didn't make it about Cleo and Frankie. Spelldon and Valentine make sense tho. Love it. It's been written in Valentine's diary I believe very briefly. You're absolutly right. Mattel still favors G1 which is why they thought that putting what shoudlve been a G3 couple in a previous generation comic was the best way to make easy money. When I heard the announcement that there was going to be a generation 3 of monster high, and that Nickelodeon was going to be involved. I got really jealous. Because I was hoping if Mattel could have went to Disney, I was hoping if Disney could have done the animated series. And of course I wish Disney could have done the first live-action movie as well, I can hardly wait for the second one to come out soon. And the reason why I love Disney so much it's because the company is not only family-friendly entertainment, but it's all magical. And they create great memories with their movies and so forth. Disney and Mattel could have joined forces to create the monster high generation 3, with both a cgi-animated series and live action movies. Because I remember Disney did such a great job with The descendants franchise they have made three live action movies of descendants. Those movies were really successful, and really good. And I should say wicked, because I remembered one of the characters would say that word. And of course they made an series known as descendants wicked World, I'm trying to get to know The descendants franchise with that animated series. So it would have been cool if Mattel and Disney could have joined forces to do a monster high generation 3 franchise, and it would have been cool if the monster high characters and The descendants characters could have crossed over. With a couple of animated movies and even live action movies. Another thing at Disney, one of the most popular children animated shows from Disney Junior is Vampirina. It would have been cool if the monster high characters could have crossed over into a animated special, with Vampirina her family and her friends. Also I've seen another show called The ghost and Molly McGee, I think it would have been cool if the monster high characters could have crossed over into a episode of The ghost and Molly McGee. So with all of that, that's why I think it would have been better if Mattel and Disney could have work together not only for a brand new CGI animated series and live action movies. But they could have made some crossovers with their other franchises, with the monster high characters as special guests for them

A lot is happening with Nick Studios right now with a new Power Rangers film, a new TMNT film, a new TMNT series, Rise TMNT getting a third season, a heck ton of Avatar projects. I'm not saying that they've pushed to the side, quite the opposite since they're working on a sequel to their Live-action film. So, in short the problem is running a company🤗

I haven't seen g1 content in ages, but it's interesting to hear there were some frenemy moments with Toralei and Clawdeen. I'm totally open to an opposites attract, cat/dog dynamic but this comic didn't quite work for me. But if Mattel commits to G1 Toradeen, I'd be interested in future stories

As clawdeen herself sais this is just a sick rumor somebody made up. G3 yes heck even a guy who advocates and even fights that clawdeen remain heterosexual would favor toradeen in g3 over g1. Sure you come to my channel its chock full of straight clawdeen stuff from fan art wars to different fandoms fighting for it but even all these who you guys say is homophobic we all would rather it be g3. G1 they hate each other and you know clawdeens heart shed be dumped by torelai first fight they had. Shed cry in her room for weeks
I already responded to this as a different comment but Ill write it here: I really would have chosen Cleo if I had to chose Toreli with anyone with G1 but even then I would NEVER want to split up Duece and Cleo. But Clawdeen? I know Toreli was a bully to her and her friends but besides that, they didn't have any depth to them. It felt really out of the blue. I would have preferred making up a totally different character to have G1 Clawdeen with. They should have just made the comic about G3 Toreli and Clawdeen. Or Cleo and Frankie since that's what they're doing in the show. I actually don't understand why they didn't make it about Cleo and Frankie. Spelldon and Valentine make sense tho. Love it. It's been written in Valentine's diary I believe very briefly. Idk but I'm very upset that the original creator wasn't even called for these comics. 🥲 I feel like G1 shouldn't be touched anymore because thats what it is. G1 so its done. If they wanted to add any changes they could have done so during G2 or G3.
fun fact, in g3 clawdeen is supposed to be lesbian, the leaked show bible of season 1 said so. a love interest was planned for season 2 but it was scrapped and pushed to season 3, except season 3 hasnt been greenlit since the quiet on set and most likely will be cancelled after season 2 :///
As someone who remembers Valentine from G1 movie..this feels really weird ngl. Both stories feel out of place (more like a mid fanfics than anything remotely canon) but the second one was definitely more natural in showing main couple.
To me, Valentine's comic feels less "fanfic" because it's heavily referencing his doll diary and what the original G1 writers seemed to have wanted to do with his character. I can't say the same about Clawdeen's story. That one does feel pretty fanfic.
Also, he has an important role (kinda) in the “I only have eye for you” comic, Where he already showed some character development

Why do OC's get an origin story on how they fell for eachother but not Clawdeen and Torelei. 😅 They're relationship just feels awkward without knowing how it happened, and it's all fluff. I would've liked more conflict considering Torelei was the mean girl and both girls have fierce personalities.
Valentine and Spelldron aren't Ocs. Valentine was a villain in one of the movies and Spelldron was mentioned as Valentine's crush in the book that used to come with the dolls. G1 was cancelled before Spelldron got a doll.

My main thing is that, with the G1 designs, Torelei and Clawdeen dont work. At all. This is a really cute concept, but they definently should have picked different characters.

oh wow, I never noticed Toralei had a little lesbian flag pin on the cover :o I think we can count that for her at least. I only ever noticed the pride flag behind them, from my understanding it's meant to be a more inclusive design compared to the usual rainbow flag.

Toradeen in G3 is cute and easier to believe because there is a development in their relationship and dynamics, whereas in G1, this doesn't happen and Toraline is just a mean girl.
My thoughts exactly. I don't see Toradeen in G1. G1 Toralie honestly has more chemistry with Cleo. Toradeen in G3 is pretty adorable though.

@@anordinarygurl9642 Clawdeen was never confirmed to be a lesbian in g1, the creator just said that he was open to the idea of her being a lesbian but not that it was in the plans. And remember that Halloween movie? She appears to have a crush on Draculaura's cousin at the end of the film! At the very least she is bisexual. I'm only saying this because it's a huge misinformation about the character!

You're absolutly right. Mattel still favors G1 which is why they thought that putting what shoudlve been a G3 couple in a previous generation comic was the best way to make easy money. Plus both Toralei and Clawdeen are different in their seperate generations so tge personality wouldnt work like this.
It's frustrating because I was open to the idea of g1 Toradeen but if they had shown us how they got on friendly terms & decided to date. This comic I feel also makes their personalities... kinda bland for the sake of the plot and cute moments.

yeah, that's definitely in my list of things I wanna talk about. I bought the dvd for season 1 recently so I hope to do a big overview on that. And then maybe a shorter video on s2 and the state of the show on Nick? There's also the g1 Pride comics I hope to buy and talk about. Since one of the stories features Clawdeen and she's our g3 main character, I'd like to compare her depictions

When I heard the announcement that there was going to be a generation 3 of monster high, and that Nickelodeon was going to be involved. I got really jealous. Because I was hoping if Mattel could have went to Disney, I was hoping if Disney could have done the animated series. And of course I wish Disney could have done the first live-action movie as well, I can hardly wait for the second one to come out soon. And the reason why I love Disney so much it's because the company is not only family-friendly entertainment, but it's all magical. And they create great memories with their movies and so forth. Disney and Mattel could have joined forces to create the monster high generation 3, with both a cgi-animated series and live action movies. Because I remember Disney did such a great job with The descendants franchise they have made three live action movies of descendants. Those movies were really successful, and really good. And I should say wicked, because I remembered one of the characters would say that word. And of course they made an series known as descendants wicked World, I'm trying to get to know The descendants franchise with that animated series. So it would have been cool if Mattel and Disney could have joined forces to do a monster high generation 3 franchise, and it would have been cool if the monster high characters and The descendants characters could have crossed over. With a couple of animated movies and even live action movies. Another thing at Disney, one of the most popular children animated shows from Disney Junior is Vampirina. It would have been cool if the monster high characters could have crossed over into a animated special, with Vampirina her family and her friends. Also I've seen another show called The ghost and Molly McGee, I think it would have been cool if the monster high characters could have crossed over into a episode of The ghost and Molly McGee. So with all of that, that's why I think it would have been better if Mattel and Disney could have work together not only for a brand new CGI animated series and live action movies. But they could have made some crossovers with their other franchises, with the monster high characters as special guests for them
Monster High is owned by Mattel, not Nickelodeon or Viacom or even Paramount. That's why this show is not on Paramount+.
Nickelodeon Animation Studios is listed as one of the production companies on wikipedia, so they do have involvement. Besides, there are other toy line series with cartoons. You could say that Transformers is owned by Hasbro but the new show still aired on both Paramount+ and on tv

A lot is happening with Nick Studios right now with a new Power Rangers film, a new TMNT film, a new TMNT series, Rise TMNT getting a third season, a heck ton of Avatar projects. I'm not saying that they've pushed to the side, quite the opposite since they're working on a sequel to their Live-action film. So, in short the problem is running a company🤗
that's interesting. i didn't know nick still had involvement with Power Rangers, last I heard is that Power Rangers moved to Netflix only. my biggest worry is Monster High is being neglected by Nick cuz it's a "girls show" compared to their other shows. :< but you're right about the live action sequel, i'm interested in how that'll go. maybe we'll get live-action clawd! :D

I loooove the G3 reboot!!! Watched both episodes when they premiered on Nick. Frankie's my fave as well and they were my fave since G1. Now that they're non-binary like me I relate to them even more^^
