  The closest flybus stops near the cruise ports is Harpa concert hall. Google “Harpa bus stop” for what it looks like. After flybus picks you up, you’ll be driven to FSI bus depot in middle of Reykjavik, then you take separate bus to KEF airport. I’d strongly advise you to be at bus stop 10-15 mins before your decided pick-up b/c they will be there on time and will not wait. Despite being an island, “island time” does not exist 😂 in 🇮🇸

  Nice review - I was on this sailing with you and I expected a lot more negativity due to the mechanical problems and the things we missed in our itinerary. I did find the ship, the staff, the food and the entertainment to be excellent. Mechanical problems do happen and I believe that Princess did a great job in compensation for our losses. That won't help some folks that will never get another opportunity, but thankfully I was already able to use the FCC for next year. Cheers!

  Guys, that was a phenomenal review. My wife and I are flying into Vancouver (from Sydney 16 hrs 🤦🏼‍♂️) for a 10-night cruise on the Sapphire departing Sept 14. I watch all 68 mins and feel like I know the ship well.our last Princess Ceuise was on the Majestic and you will really enjoy the ship for your upcom8ng Boston cruise. Thank you both for the research, the time and the simple yet clearly unbiased review as you appear to be Royal regulars.   Wow, I’ve seen Mt Fraser, so when I looked up Fraser Lookout in google maps I was shocked at how they are two entirely different parts of BC (roughly 1000 km as the crow flies).

  It's individual cruise but lowest I've seen is $2,199 + taxes and gratuities. It's $5,000+ on my June 2025 cruise aboard Adventure, but Icon is in port the same day.

  For the cruise shore excursion, money to tip the driver and/or the tour guide, and then any cash to buy something at a local vendor. Note that the vendors in Marigot (French side of the island) take/expect Euros. On the Dutch side, not sure.

  int.bahn.de/en/trains/luggage Two small carry ons and backpack shouldn't be any problem at all. We had two large suitcases and were able to put them in the luggage rack area at the end of the car we were riding in.

  Some context. 1) This was the...worst possible place on the ship to hold the Captain's corner, for all the reasons I described in the video. 2) The people behind us, who were possibly in line for the rock climbing wall above where we were sitting, were the text book definition of rude and insensitive. Actively talking loudly when everyone else around them (including us) were trying to hear the officers answer the questions. It was sooooo bad that on two occasions during the Q&A, I actually had to confront them and ask them to shut up. Apologies for the poor audio. We would have sat in a different spot if we'd known about these issues ahead of time.
