New to June Bugs in my part of California. My cat is useless and they upset my 110lb (also useless) pittbull when they collide into him at night 😅 This is brilliant. I’ll save them for my friends chickens 🙌🏾 Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Your goats still need loose minerals EVEN with copper boluses 😊 they need more then just copper
Correct. We still offer the purina loose mineral for goats. 🐐
Thank you so much for this video !! It was so encouraging and the in depth explanations were so helpful for a beginner like me!
Glad it was helpful!
No dog. Akbaş ( white head wolf ) okey. Akbaş and kangal wolf. I am from turkey.
An actual picking would have been nice.
Not only does it slow the plucker down, it give the motor more torque to power through any jam ups.
Just turn the kennel upside down and shake it. Gravity will make it come out.
Now we know why leprosy is running ramped the south. Do these people really not know that these animals carry leprosy?
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you. God bless you. 🌈🙏Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 😊
Good job! I'm trying to build me one too
Dang…good job 👊🏻🙌🏼
Love the video
Thank you!
Glad to know I'm not the only one we escape woes of LGD's. I'll keep adjusting my hot fencing til it stops all escapes... but they are juveniles and are doing what seems they do best.
We’ve not had any issues since that hot wire was installed on top of the field fence. The young dogs do tend to want to test the limits. They will get over that in time. Good luck!
I watched a similar video. He put the trap outside near a big spotlight to lure extra bugs that eventually ended up in his bucket.
That would definitely help. Nice
OK, I made my goat stand, but still no drop of milk is coming out. Is there newbies milking mistakes which cause no milk coming when they try to milk? Thank you.
I just knew someone would help me with the same issue! LOL I have two Great Pyrenees puppies who love to go in and terrorize my poor chickens…thank you so much
Absolutely love it lol
Thank you! This helps. These dogs are worth it!
Having poison ivy several times in my life that didn't look like poison ivy

WTF Kill them things
Yeah, this one’s got some guts. Good for you woman
That's her friend! Momma he wasn't eatin or killin so we are friends! 😂💝
The horse power of the motor is not enough u can replace another motor thanks
I don’t see the purpose of the shaft being so long and requiring another bearing at the bottom. A good solid piece of wood would not require that. Also at the bent “formed” area of the spinning plate, I would use that to put two fingers facing down into the bottom and use them as wipers to expel all the feathers. Good work
You have more guts than anyone I have ever seen. LOL
does any one plant old style hedgerows for fencing ?
Since farmland properties (in general) are getting bigger not smaller. So some farmers are removing hedge rows. Not sure how I feel about that knowing why they were put there in the first place.
I am now close to 60 years with goats. Enjoyed your video. TRUE ; "You can teach an old dog new tricks". God Bless.
Thank you. Glad you agree!
I laughed out loud when you said "mad armadillo." haha. I also have a dog named Cheyenne. She is a white lab/dogo argentina mix. The best dog ever. She is thirteen and slowing down, but roams the property with me doing chores and caring for the garden, goats, and chickens. Never leaves my space. My watchdog. Your Cheyenne reminds me of my Pyrenes "Jonah." What a wonderful dog he was. Thanks for the laugh.
Glad you got a chuckle from that little angry guy
@@ChickaWoofRanch He sure was! Isn't it amazing the things we never think we will have to do when we live in the country? But when we have to, we just do them and laugh? haha.
Yep. I wish we kept a list of all the crazy stuff we have done. All so we can live out in the country.
Awful drafty on the wall
Pretty sure my ducks would desamate a garden like they did nearly every green thing around our house .. including the lawn
John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Its so sweet how your son pets the chicken! The hen seems like she enjoys it, too.
Thank you for sharing this info. I have an amazing Pyrenees that does a beautiful job of watching our small farm. I have been concerned with her throwing her body to the ground and shimmying under the fence and running from pasture to pasture. It bothers me way more than her. I feel more confident know it’s common. I appreciate your simplistic and unpretentious teaching style. Thank you again
So nice of you
I can relate!! I have Saanens. My stanchion is welded steel (hubby made it) and has side rails and a steel mesh floor so any spilled milk goes down to the ground. Head gate is adjustable.
Priming the ducks. OMG, I think I split a gut 1:01
Is Patu yours, now?
He is ours now.
Interesting you have brother and sister, I see so many warnings about litter mate syndrome. Dogs just need to be dogs, these are beautiful examples of that.
Yeah it was not the “plan” to keep both but it has worked out pretty good so far. Thanks for watching
Oh, no suh! It would just have to stay shut! Lol. I'm claustrophobia! 😬
You get used to it after getting under there multiple times. It’s the first time that’s a struggle
020523 G'day Wendy. I'm Arnie from Australia. No livestock yet.
Thanks for watching Arnie!
I haven’t seen this video in three years and it’s still fantastic💥
Thank you!
010523 Thanks for the long chat
Thanks for hanging out
Try to get some GUINEA FOUL. They devour insects by the ton. Especially ticks. They take a bit of initial settling in, but once they are acclimatised, they are fantastic. And taste like chicken used to taste....
We’ve considered Guineas but we’re not excited about how loud they are. We have friends that have them and that is one of the complaints they have. We’re not saying never… just not right now.
Try it with pineapples, strawberries, grapes, ocean spray’s cran-watermelon, and bulk strawberry Rhubarb all natural water 😋
Sounds great! Thanks
What was your training methods? From pups up ?
Nothing special just spent time with them and correcting when necessary. The guardian part comes naturally.
do you shave your ladies's udders?
Enjoy your videos ! Hope you are able to start posting more again
I hope so too! We would like to but KZread is changing and no longer supports/encourages long format videos. Not real interested in making shorts
Thank you for a great video. Have you ever head of the Great Pyrenees Bloodline Pendouglas?
What is that?
Where did you get the cone? Can’t seem to find one like that
Got it from the vet. Any thin flexible plastic will probably work
My first time their first time I foresee disaster as they think the milk stand is creepy
Probably right but you can overcome that with treats
