The Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) is a group of over 1100 physiotherapists, who are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
In addition to their undergraduate training they have all undertaken extensive postgraduate study and reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy. Their knowledge and practical skills ensures that all MACP Physiotherapists are able to provide an excellent standard of care in examination, treatment and management for people with neuromusculoskeletal problems.
In the UK the MACP is recognised as the specialist manipulative therapy group by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT).

I have no idea what this stupid video is about I understood someone would ring me to discuss my problems not at all helpfully.
Easy to understand. Good!
No mention of not being able to poop. I was told years ago if you can't poop then go to A&E immediately. Mind you that was an Army Dr so probably was more he didn't have a clue. Although when my back is playing up it does increase the pain in my back when going to the toilet.
What did she say? I cannot understand her!🤔
Very informative and nicely done.
Brilliant presentation. Very informative , engaging masterfully delivered
what about some pain the bottom of my spine due to fall from stairs also muscle pain upper part of my arms due to the fall. 3 steps from bottom of the steps . I have a referral or been told to self refer from Walk in Centre Bransholme medical centre . thank you Anne M Willingam
thanks a lot! Doctor Jeremy~I've been inspired by you
That is the best video ever - great graphics and puts the message across very clearly, 10/10 whoever made this video
This is going to change my clinical practice in approaching wound healing from a nursing perspective. Thank you, Tim Watson!
I have fixed your audio as it was unlistenable as it is, contact me and I will send you the file.
Hello stu hope the wifes well seen in the pub necking on with my mates whos 21 all the best josh think he fingered her too tbh
It is worth viewing. I learnt a lot.
What a load of bullshit. If persistent pain patients start educating themselves on pain biology science they'll know more than their therapist in two months and you can NEVER challenge the knowledge ergo the ego of a clinician
This is amazing. Great work by the MACP in getting this off the ground and into the hands of physios.
Thank you for this very informative presentation. I’m 50 and going through the menopause and currently considering HRT with my GP. I have only just learnt about the connection with joint health. In 2020 I was diagnosed with severe bone on bone osteoarthritis in my left hip, I had a total hip replacement thankfully I was able to go private with insurance as at the age of 49 I was too young to need a walking stick. I have mild OA in most other joints, plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. I also have protruding discs in lower lumbar area. My bmi is a sensible 25, I own and ride my own horse so he is keeping me active. I also do regular physio based Pilates classes. With my orthopaedic consultant we are keeping an eye on my right hip as I’ve the familiar groin pain but movement is ok. I’m hoping hrt will help slow the progression of my OA, maybe there could be more research in this area.
So you doctors are using the wrong tests.
I will be seen by Dr. Fehlings in Toronto soon. Thank-you for this great easy to understand presentation. Even, as a knowledgeable health care professional, I may have waited too long after many doctors for many years, convinced me that nothing was wrong, even after seeing my MRI! I have since shared Dr. Fehlings and Dr. Witiw's publication on CSM with 3 doctors and my physiotherapist.

it would be possible with subtitles in English?
63 (!) views... ONE (!) comment....in FOUR (!!) years... now you know what physios are focused on... XD

Im pretty sure its not my PCs issue as the volume for other videos works fine for me. This video is still really really quite, it would not help with audience whos interested. Hope this issue can be looked further into.

Glad i'm not the only one! I just pust the sped up the video and read the powerpoint but i hope they can fix the volume.

the volume is very low, can't hear a word from my phone
Brilliant and enlightening lecture
On placebo effect: or how about the effect of the environment alone? Eg working in a clinic as opposed to a non clinical environment (eg gym). I imagine it could make a very significant difference. Exercise physiologist here - I’ve worked in hospitals, clinics and gyms and see a massive difference in patient perception alone and how they approach a rehab or pain management protocol.
Jason Jarred i guess it depends on how u perceive a gym ;)
I got the double whammy of mobility Impairment from a concussion and the constant back, hip & shoulder pain, all keeps me just about bed bound. Sucks.
Thanks a lot for posting these great videos! Is there any way we can access the remainder of Lorimer's second session? It was about 50 minutes long if I remember it correctly
the best lecture ever. so much vital information for clinicians in one lecture
Fan-freakin-tastic stuff!
This video is essential viewing for all physiotherapists. Great work Joel!
