This is not what adapter my LU3-20A came with. It came with a small adapter with an 8 pin IN and a 6 pin out and a 3 pin out with a DC24V power jack on the side.

@ortunet I've used the exact settings you provide in the image of the tests grid and get some colour but no where near the range or brightness i see on your example video, please can you give some more detail - was sold it as i can get 300 shades in colour but getting nothing. What grade stainless was used in this test? what other settings are there? I'm using 2 and 3mm stainless but not getting anything like you
Are you using 304 stainless steel? 304 stainless steel is a little better for colour. Please do not use mirrored stainless steel plate, the reflection will also affect the colour effect.
@@orturnet ok will try that. I had brushed stainless but don't know if it was 304. It was 3mm staimless from alirxpress
@@orturnet So I'm using the file you provided with exactly the same settings on a 20w LU3-20A head and i've now done 3 extra tests after your reply. One is 304 steel brushed stainless, then i've used the opposite side 304 stainless dull and no polished at all. I've also used a piece of generic stainless from ali-express that i expect is is 303 though its not stated. None of these are giving the results you get in your video or even close to it. Happy to show you pictures. Is this suggesting the the head is faulty on not running at the right power? The material is definitely right and the settings are what you provided as pictures and LightBurn settings. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I was getting a wider range of colour on the LU2-10A and bought this based on the promise of 300 colours with nice bright purples and reds etc

I saw a diode on AliExpress, and they write in the description effective output power 80w and optical power is 10w. Which one is the laser power?
The laser power is 10W, the 80W you see is the output power of the whole machine

Hi, the parameters are provided in the video We did 2 engravings, the first at 4000mm/min, 45% power, diagonal engraving mode. The second engraving speed was 4000mm/min, 75% power, horizontal engraving mode.
