Hi! I'm Manpreet. I started the Indian Booktuber channel back in 2015 to share my love for books and to highlight Indian books and authors.
Now, I'm on a journey to read 1000 books in my lifetime. Books Read so far: 404
----
Since 2015, booktube has brought me a lot of recognition and more love and support than I had ever expected. I'm extremely grateful for everything you made possible.
I got featured in Times of India, The Hindu, and Indian Express. My interviews are on Social Samosa, & Harper Broadcast, and I was also on the BBC. Thanks to the wonderful Indian Booktuber community.
Thanks for connecting to my channel. I hope you continue enjoying the content I produce.

Thanks so much for tuning back and watching again. Beautiful comment too :)
All these books are not even real stories. It dissuades us from understanding our real rich heritage
How? Backed up by research, people are drawn and more interested in learning of their heritage, culture and history through various fiction works. But I’m curious on what basis you made your claim.
Mam could you please categorize these sub genres of crime fiction with reference to indian crime fiction
Hello mam. Do you recommend the Throne of glass series by Sarah.J.Mass?
I have only read the 1st two books in the series but a huge yes! Go for it.
if you have not then please read yugant by iravati karve
You must read Ajaya the roll of dice!!!
Yep! Read that quite a few years ago.
Thank for 30 subscribers
These so-called Indian mythologies are framed by one particular class of people for their well-being.
Call epics and Hindu literature books. Why r u saying mythology ? Hum khud jab tak apnae itihas ko respect nai karenge tau dusre kyo karenge . Aap ko Mahadev Shiv imagination lagta hae ? What rubbish is this ? Jab maroge tau pehle ghar wale ko kahna ki Ram naam Satya nai bole jab yr dead body ghar sae nikle samshan Tak. Itna bhi advance nai hona hae ki khud ki dharm ko imaginary kahe.
Nice update.its sensitive to comment on religious book.but its necessary for spiritual satisfaction.please split the post into two instead one but not mix two different subjects.
Read shiva rahasya itihas.
Di i have read one of yours Ghost on silent hills it just really amazing thanks for your reccommendation s your recommending books are really good👍 thanks a lot❤🎉❤😊
I would really recommended to watch true Ramayana
The book doesn’t deserve the way she is criticising this book
I would like books on Jainism history and the teerthankaras. Also I would love to know more about the Mauryan and Gupta empires
Ramayan and Mahabharat are not mythology ❌
Lol they are as fake as Rakhi Sawant's boboobs😂
This is not mythology 🤦murkh log

Absolutely there is much more rather in mytho fiction rather than focus on Ramayan and Mahabharat
Thank you...I suggest good vibes and good life..among the best books
You're most welcome
Ab to aate hi nhi
Absolutely loved this list! Non-fiction can be such a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration, and it's great to see these gems being highlighted. Your recommendations always push me to explore new books that I might have missed otherwise. Thank you for sharing these incredible reads with us. Can't wait to dive into them!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
I gonna try it by your recommendations its seems interesting 👍😊
Yay! Go for it
Thriller uthale..khatam hoga...
If I choose to read Indian fiction, I prefer to stay with the classic writers like Tagore, R.K Narayan, Satyajit Ray etc. I don't know any good contemporary fiction writer. Please recommend if anyone knows anyone who writes extremely well.
If you like to read romance then read my fault by mercedes Ron.its soo hooking.try it out you will love it.its ya but its not like that .
Taking your word, I'll probably give "That night" a shot someday. Dropping a few of my own recommendations for my fellow horror enthusiasts: - Darkness by Ratnakar Matkari (originally in Marathi, a collection of well-translated short stories) - for western horror, anything by HP Lovecraft - top rated posts on Reddit's r/nosleep - Junji Ito for horror manga
Thanks for dropping your recs. I gotta try H.P. lovecraft asap!
I am travelling in dark and alone. Hence vampire 🦇 came into my imagination .hence like joke books insted horror!
I only read that night that was amazing & i will read the other book too
Go for it
Hey di you read midnight library ever 🤔
I have tried but never ended up finishing it. Not coz of the book but coz of the paperback I had… it was terrible. Maybe will try again
@@IndianBooktuber go for it next time it's quite good👍
I've been reading Western horror and even some Southeast Asian horror books for a long time now. Indian horror books are nowhere near the quality of their Western and southeast Asian contemporaries. I did read Ghosts of the Silent Hills by Anita Krishnan. While the stories did not scare me at all, they were still entertaining enough to read. I will try That Night as I've been on the fence for that book for quite a while. Thanks for the review!
can you suggest some good southeast asian horror books?
I have read both the novels. Ghosts of the silent Hill was better. Besides also check out ghosts in our backyard (about Ramsay family) and green room. Good books.
Oh yes. Ghosts in our backyard is definitely on my to read list
👋🏻 heloo how's you...
I am well. How are you
Hidden Hindu 3 .But if its not good then avoid it .(atleast for now).Find any other interesting one.Life is too short🤷
Hahah true that. But I still want to finish it. It’s not too bad either. It’s just I keep wanting to procrastinate on it
Sounds interesting.
You can read "People from my neighbourhood" by Hiromi Kawakami. It's a very short book and delightful to read.
U need something else
100%
Sb bandh kr do kuch din ke liye
Kyuuuuu

tbh i knew about the murderer but the book was damn interesting ....by god ...i liked it and i would say that you should not degrade someone's writing just because you don't like it ...though his some books are controversial.....this book was really intresting
You are so sweet. Excellent presentation. ❤
Thank you so much!
Butter polishing مكهن لغاناء اردو كى كتاب ابن انشاء
The secret diary of Adrian mole
Thankyou mam For your recommendations I am a science student and i am a crucial period of life and books helps me to keep my mind at equilibrium Can you recommend some of the books which are interesting like Anita kr
Hidden hindu 3 , Do book apne read kar li hai sirf 3rd book baki rhe gyi hai trilogy complete ho jaayegi.😊😊😊
Hehehe you’re so right. I should really wrap that up 😬
Compare to other Ram and Sita book series i felt Ravan book is more interesting. The way he has written his soft corner towards vedavati ( Kanyakumari) till his cruality towards vedavatis killers..its amazing nice to see different shade of ravans. And the way you explained book in short and sweet way excellent.
Thank you
Read - the unexpected guest .
Faltu podcast 🥲🥲🥲💔💔💔 Yes they are faltu many times, but some channels are good too. For example, see Nitin Kamanth or the great indian podcast. Actually the pioneers of the indian podcast world hv got faltu, i agree, and that is what causes the notion about them.
Love Nitin Kamath’s podcast. Will check great Indian podcast. Haha
No one is going to hate you..coz what you said is absolutely correct.. The book is repetitive and questions your patience level.. That why i always say that this book doesn't deserve a trilogy. It should have a two book series...
True that
Presentation of central idea of books is understand elaborated.many years ago fictional books based on science was my favourite.motivated by your post.... May be start ..... again!
Excellent
