Indian Booktuber

Hi! I'm Manpreet. I started the Indian Booktuber channel back in 2015 to share my love for books and to highlight Indian books and authors.

Now, I'm on a journey to read 1000 books in my lifetime. Books Read so far: 404
----
Since 2015, booktube has brought me a lot of recognition and more love and support than I had ever expected. I'm extremely grateful for everything you made possible.

I got featured in Times of India, The Hindu, and Indian Express. My interviews are on Social Samosa, & Harper Broadcast, and I was also on the BBC. Thanks to the wonderful Indian Booktuber community.

Thanks for connecting to my channel. I hope you continue enjoying the content I produce.

How? Backed up by research, people are drawn and more interested in learning of their heritage, culture and history through various fiction works. But I’m curious on what basis you made your claim.

Call epics and Hindu literature books. Why r u saying mythology ? Hum khud jab tak apnae itihas ko respect nai karenge tau dusre kyo karenge . Aap ko Mahadev Shiv imagination lagta hae ? What rubbish is this ? Jab maroge tau pehle ghar wale ko kahna ki Ram naam Satya nai bole jab yr dead body ghar sae nikle samshan Tak. Itna bhi advance nai hona hae ki khud ki dharm ko imaginary kahe.

Taking your word, I'll probably give "That night" a shot someday. Dropping a few of my own recommendations for my fellow horror enthusiasts: - Darkness by Ratnakar Matkari (originally in Marathi, a collection of well-translated short stories) - for western horror, anything by HP Lovecraft - top rated posts on Reddit's r/nosleep - Junji Ito for horror manga

I've been reading Western horror and even some Southeast Asian horror books for a long time now. Indian horror books are nowhere near the quality of their Western and southeast Asian contemporaries. I did read Ghosts of the Silent Hills by Anita Krishnan. While the stories did not scare me at all, they were still entertaining enough to read. I will try That Night as I've been on the fence for that book for quite a while. Thanks for the review!

The way he has written his soft corner towards vedavati ( Kanyakumari) till his cruality towards vedavatis killers..its amazing nice to see different shade of ravans.
