I just saw this today. April 28, 2024. Adine is an Outstanding lady. All she does, the carers, the people who donate the doctors that help and anyone I missed really Love and care for these Most Majestic creatures from God. I found something that really lights up my 60 year old heart! I enjoy every video that Adine puts out. I know shes busy Right now she has Baby Phabeni at the orphanage and he took a little dip in his health and theres some concern. Adine told us that baby Ele's health can turn quickly so all baby's need constant care and watched closely. They can stop eating and have runny dung. Adine and carers carry stress when this happens. The milk has to be tweeked as the baby grows. I think they drink 8-10 bottles a day at $25 a bottle. If anyone can donate to help them out it would help them so much. Im not in position to do so right now but hoping to contribute in futures even if it's not a huge donation. Just knowing in my ❤ that I did would feel wonderful inside. In the meantime I try to watch all the videos, like, comment and share so she can be paid by youtube. That's a great way to help for us that can't send money. If your not a subscriber on HERD Channel please subscribe. Great interview. Thank you so much. Lori from Canada❤❤

I wish I was at this live. I would of asked her why she keeps all the females on birth control. My guess is cost of more care or male aggression ? I follow herd from Canada. I seen an episode where she said the herd is under birth control. I would love to see more babies. Can’t get enough of them . But I also know how much other herds even in wild love having their babies too.

I breed. Purebred labs. I’ve had to bottle fed a litter at a cost of $35 a day. I can not imagine what it would cost to bottle feed a baby elephant.

Where else can we see humans and elephants interact completely naturally together in the wild than HERD. Thank you Adine and HERD team for all you do. Phabeni and Khanyisa are alive and well today because of HERD rescue. It takes 8 years to get the babies to adulthood. HERD is doing fundraising for a solar panel grid setup so they can get off reliance on South Africa electricity grid. Lammie is a legend.

can you please explain what happened, I didn't understand why and how Tokwa Sotombe the first 5 or 6 big elephants came together and I think I recall you saying a farm closed? so they were in danger of being without a home? and the elephants each had their own human that came with them to the Jabulani HERD? I'm confused about where those elephant came from. where they working elephants that were forced to give rides or clear bush lands? was this a blessing in disguise that the farm closed down so they could live more like wild elephants? or were they already as free as they are at Jabulani?

Johan Rothmann is right, we need to shift to population control. At the beginning of democracy only men could vote, now most voters are women and generally left. The problem here is, as women dominate the voting, politcians talking about overpopulation is off the cards. As animals, our #1 priority is our own selfish survival. We are stuck, unable to action the only solution.
