    1. Should one of the surviving O-5 Northerns be restored to operation? 2. Are you excited about Union Pacific Challenger 3985 getting restored to operating condition? 3. Do you think that CP 2860 should get another chance to steam again? 4. What's your thoughts about a DM&IR Yellowstone return to steam?

    Leviathan's success with the United States Lines was hindered by Prohibition forcing her to run as a "dry ship". The Immigration Act of 1924 also did not help matters. Despite these adversities, Leviathan still managed to gain an impressive following. In 1926 for example, Leviathan had an average of 1,300 passengers per voyage, making her the second most popular liner on the transatlantic route that year. And in 1927, Leviathan was the most popular ship on the transatlantic route, carrying 40,537 passengers over 28 crossings, averaging 1,448 per crossing. The Great Depression became the final nail in the coffin. At one point, Leviathan was losing over $75,000 for every round trip. It's a damn shame too, because Leviathan was a really beautiful ship, and she had a loyal passenger following despite all the adversity.

    This is a sound taken from World of Warships. It sounds when you press the horn key (N) and have a special winter camouflage applied to your battleship. Thats why you hear bells jingling and santa claus.

    Wait, 4016 HAS 2 TENDERS?!

  • @ellijahgabrielaquino9029
    @ellijahgabrielaquino90292 ай бұрын

    Some locomotives carry two tenders it serves as a emergency supply of fuel For example , Flying Scotsman has 2 tenders which has coal and water on each one due to traveling long distances can be tedious for the driver and fireman to look for coal bunkers and water towers because it is rarely seen anywhere only fuel pumps are commonly seen nowadays It also applies to diesel locomotives aswell but it carries gasoline and oil to keep it running even if it travels for miles without stopping for refuelling

    Ok so you say this is the "real" whistle from the SS Californian, yet you also say "In my opinion it's SS Californian whistle" So you can't definitively say if it was the "real" SS Californian whistle in-fact it's extremely unlikely this was the SS Californian considering that no footage of this vessel exists This Whistle just sounds like a random American Steam locomotive whistle, let alone a cargo liner which realistically would've had a far deeper pitch
