What size motors are those guys running I’m running a hw 5100 in my TLR scte 3.0. 4x4 I’m thinking it’s to fast. I also have the losi22s 2wd sct and it has a 3300 motor and it’s not fast enough for racing. I will be headed your way next month I’m from texas but will be working until December in PA. I race a TB05R… the pro is a great car I’ve had one! Get a spring kit and adjustable rear wishbone mount to allow you to adjust the rear tow in…. use 45-50wt oil up front with hard springs and set the shock as wide as possible… use 35wt oil at the rear with the softest springs and fit the shocks inbound as far as possible on the shock and wishbone, set the rear toe in to (3.5 to 4°) and the rear of the pins as low as possible (if you’ve no access to setup gauges) if you put a straight edge on the rear wheels, the out side edge of the "rear wheels" should point to the middle of the "front" wheels (approx 2.5°) or the inner 1/4 of the "front" tyre (approximately 3.5°)… fine tune the car by moving the shocks in or out on the shock mount ie for more steering move the rear shock out (stiffen the rear) or move the front shock in (soften the front) I’ve also fitted the smaller servo saver arm for less throw, this set up should help to make it less twitchy and more drivable
@MikeLouie_TKD2 жыл бұрын
I have 3° toe-in rear, 0 toe front, 40f/35r shock fluid and stiffer springs front and softer rear, with same sway bars (stiffer front, softer rear). Was running touring car slicks in this video, which needed several laps to warm-up.
