  If you're new to melty/hisui you should do something simpler though, start with the basic launcher + jBC jBC air throw then move onto 2c 5c jc jC adc jBB j236b jAAC adc jBB j236B 623a/236a236a. This combo has a lot of awkward delays and airdash cancels are weird to get used to, so while learning the 623a confirms you should start with reverse beating directly into jBB instead and then optimize with adc when you feel confident in the rest of the execution.

  the root of the problem is I'M FUCKING RETARDED and i can't do shit, every action i take is the wrong one. People just run at me and I instantly lose, i try to press a button to prevent them but whatever they press wins every time, I don't understand. Someone constantly jumps into the air and I don't know what to do about it, EVERY SINGLE TIME i mention this all I get is "same", real fucking helpful. I lose every fucking air exchange, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I don't know what's going on and causing me to be this bad, but every FUCKING time I try to ask about this the only FUCKING thing people say is "same".

  Video is 4 years old but here goes: I don't know anything about old Melty (don't even know the version being played on the video), but a general rule of thumb (that may not apply to Melty) for fighting games is, if you don't know what something is, block it If you're stuck blocking on the corner, try to press a jab on any gap you see, and try canceling it into something that knocks down (or at least gets the opponent away from you) like 2K 2D in Guilty Gear If someone is jumping a lot, your best bet is to use your anti air, maybe a DP if they're particularly predictable. Meeting them in the air is a bad strategy, save for some cases It's also interesting to understand that a lot of times, specially in these old poverty fighting games, you're probably playing against someone that's a lot better than you and knows how to be abusive and exploit your lack of knowledge. Using the in-game matchmaking tools is walking into the lion's den pretty much. Use Discord to find matches instead

  la raiz del problema es que SOY TERRIBLE AWEONAO y no puedo hacer niuna wea, todas las weas que hago estan mal. Los weones corren y pierdo al tiro, trato de apretar un boton pa pararlos pero la wea que sea que apretan gana siempre, no se wn. Un culiao saltando pa todos lados y no se que chucha hacer, CADA VEZ que digo lo mismo todo lo que responden es "igual", gracias chuchetumare me sirve caleta. Pierdo todos los intercambios, no se que hago mal, no se que chucha pasa que me hace ser asi de manco, pero CADA VEZ que trato de preguntar la unica WEA que dicen los CULIAOS es "igual".

  @@7cstudios479 You can't use mugen files/folders to transport a mugen character here since most mechanics are completely different but you can rip their sprites and make a character with some effort
