  Once he gets a stormbreaker, he realises the power to do all this was always inside him, it's not the hammer that determines his power. It is also why the Thor force and Odin force exist as seperate powers to their weapons but the weapons hold a portion of their power which is why anyone worthy to wield their weapons get part of their powers respectively.

But in movie hulk and Bruce had made peace and bonded together into one. So technically Yes you are correct. The *Comic book hulk* remembers Peter but not the Hulk in the Movies
