Hey, everyone! Welcome to my channel! I mainly just share just videos of myself or my buddies playing guitar. I don't have a format to what I do. I'd like to do some higher quality videos at some point. But then again, there's a million others already doing it. So I just throw it up raw and try to make it sound as good as possible. God bless, and thanks for checking my channel out!
P.S.
If you're interested in hiring me for any session work or live performances. Just message me on my insta: hunterrouthmusic
Thank you!

I just ordered my Cap MJR based on this review. I already have a Cap TAT and was debating about a few others, but after I read your discription of the neck, it was exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.
Man! That means a lot! I was hoping to help purchasers in that regard. Hope it's everything you want! BTW for proper setup, make sure you set the tremolo backward along with the body if you're getting the Prominence MJR. If it's the OG MJR, just set it normal. I didn't realize this when I had mine for a bit. Hence why I'm mentioning it to you.
@@HunterRouth Awesome, Thanks for the advice and review. It is the Prominence version. Also awesome playing in the video and God Bless you as well.
@@sethjohnson5243 You're most welcome and thank you for making my day! God bless you!
Absolutely awesome!🤘🏻
Cheers! Thank you! 🤘🏻
I was in Nashville last week and held that same guitar, it’s beautiful. Funny that the name came from the hang tag sun spot
Very cool! Yes! It has such a rich history behind it!
nice chops dude!
Thank you so much!
🎉Ok. Man
Ok❤
Ok
Where is The new álbum?
sounds nice ;) guitar seems really nice, so what eminence speaker youre using here ?
Thank you! Honestly, I don't remember. I just know it's red, and it's 150 Watts.
This is absolutely SICK!!!!
2:09 Savatage?
Absolutely
Where is the other half of Michaels body?
😂😂
What an amazing show. I saw them like 15 years earlier at the Hard Rock in Orlando with Megadeth & Dream Theater. Just like fine wine, they get better with age. Can't wait for the new album.
Man, that's amazing! Wish I could have seen that show!
I was there, I was the guy in the Lovebites shirt. \M/
...speaking of which I SSSSSOOOO cannot wait for September to see those ladies play their first US show at Progpower!!! \M/-_-\M/
The 1x12 MT cabs are fantastic cabs
They are definitely fun!
How you find it? I am looking at one. A bit annoyed they have got the 1500 Floyd on though
This was in Maryland at Chuck Levin's. Only store I've been to with one.
Is he paid by the pinch harmonic ?
I wish I was! John Sykes or Zakk Wylde might be. 😅
Hey dude did i see you play a Wizard in another video? If so would you pick the SLO or the Wizard if you could only have one?
Such a great question, but really, they are different animals. If you're asking between my OG SLO-100, then that one because my playing sounds better through it or it fits my style more. But between it and an SLO30. The Wizard 50 Watt. It's just preference at the end of the day. If you want more Raw Marshall, Wizard. If you want a 3D sound that fills the room, Soldano.
How do you make that sound pinching bend sound
It's kind of hard to explain... But it's basically letting the flesh slightly hit the string along with the pick. Then you try to find the harmonics along the strings after the fretboard with the notes your fretting on the fretboard. Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Mainly just practice the pick technique.
Wish this was my neighbor!
So crazy bright and no substance, I doubt Eddie ever used this for any amount of time, it really is unusable. Taking it out of my Custom Shop Charvel that I waited 3 years for and its a masterbuilt instrument. It rings like a bell, It came with a Jeff Beck and sounded great and then when I put this pickup in I was like Wear did all the mids go it almost sounds like a single coil and its not polite sounding at all in any of the frequencies.
I honestly love this pickup, and so do my other friends. I would definitely prefer it to have a little more output but then again that's not why it was made. I think you can only use this pickup for certain guitar. Mine happens to be Ash and while it doesn't fully capture it in this video. Many of my friends think this is my best sounding guitar. And I own a JP13 and a 1974 Gibson LPC. Which both are fantastic tone wise as well.
@@HunterRouth It's a great sounding pickup when used with the right guitar, amp, EQ, etc. which pretty much describes all pickups. I've seen Ossie Ahsen, Peter Thon, Jim Gausted and others get KILLER tones with the 78.
Agreed.
Breathtakingly Beautiful 🕊️🩵 Chris Caffery Kudos ⚔️
Sounds great! Just got my first Caparison a few weeks ago. A 2009 Dellinger in Titanium. The MJR is next on my list.
Thank you and awesome! I think you'll love it!
😇 "Promosm"
So you can get that Sykes sound straight from the amp, without peddles?
Correct. In-fact John Sykes himself never used pedal. Just a loud amp.
One of the best guitarists ive ever seen on here! a fine musician dude!
Aww, man, thanks! Greatly appreciate it and God bless you!
@@HunterRouth God bless you too man your a fucking inspiration.
Killer axe! How do you like the pickups?
You know I didn't like them at first, but the more I kept messing with, the more I liked the punchy and full mix of them.
Yes! More cap vids are always welcome
Cheers! Thanks for watching the clip!
Cool fast playing. I'd rather hear a melody and some feeling. Break my heart in 5 notes as opposed to trying to impress with 5000. But you can play!
I've got another video on that guitar in my videos. It's not nearly this over the top, but thank you! I just threw this up because a buddy wanted to hear more of this guitar. The other video is much more comprehensive in that regard.
Feels aggressive and exhilarating to me. Just because a dude can shred doesn’t mean he suddenly sucks at all other playing. These backhanded compliments from people that wish they could shred are really getting old. Edit* also; This is a video of a guy playing a freaking Caparison Michael Romeo model and you were hoping for slow emotive playing? That’s an error in judgement dude. Rock on Hunter. I could listen to you rip like this for a good half hour straight. Keep on ripping man.
@aphexlane Appreciate you! Great analysis, especially the "Romeo guitar" part, haha 🤣 🤘🏻
I hate when KZread suggests shit like this
It can be a hard day for anyone sometimes. :-/
Deus abençoe sempre essa banda.
Thank you and God bless you!
Perfect....
Thanks Mom! ❤️
but John use the neck 1979
Nah, his is a 78. He had multiple Paul's. But 78 was his main. He even has a 59'.
Awesome, God Bless your music / guitar playing talents.
Thank you and God bless you!
Sykes !!!!!!!
Love that guy!
Almost got this guitar. Looks so sick. Just pulled the trigger on a Dellinger 6 string that should be here in a few days. Can’t wait
Sick man! Congratulations! Caparison makes great stuff!
THIS is how you pinch and bend. Love it!
Haha, thank you so much!
I wish they would do a purple one like his old ESP, that guitar was beautiful.
Dude that would be super cool!
Sick! I have an ESP M-II in purple based of MJR's original one. He has amazing taste. Thanks for posting
Sick! Would love to see it. Thank YOU for watching!
Hey my dude, just uploaded one for you on my channel. Cheers!
@hunterrouth check my page my man!
Awesome guitar, great symphony x riffing! \m/ I don't understand why x2n is not very popular now -- it sounds great
Man, I must admit. It took me a minute to get used to them as well. There is a lot of power in those pickups! But they are very good when they get dialed in with the right amp. Thank you very much!
hunter, what about the randal 120rh head?? no good???
Never tried it. So I can't comment. Sorry.
TSO is still amazing to see live!!!👍👍👍 Chris Caffery is one of my favorite guitarists!!! Great sound and very tight with his performance always!!😁👍👍👍And also Joel Hoekstra!!! Not sure on spelling!!🤣🤣 That is a kick ass Savatage tune!!! I’m ready for more!!!😁👍👍👍
P R O M O S M 💔
Yesssir!!!!
Cheers! 🤘🏻
One of my favorite Savatage tunes, i always wished it was longer. R.I.P. Criss
I feel so stupid that i can't remember the name of the song from the first riff that you played. Can anyone help? Also great playing!!
Still of the night
@ Thank you!!
Haha, thanks! Still of the Night is always a fun one.
Sick playing man!
Just bought a blue one
Oh man! How sick! Bolt-on neck and everything?
@@HunterRouth yeah just hate the scale length, feels like im playing a ibanez gio
@@bucketbot99 Have you tried going up a size on the strings?
I wasn't sure if they were gonna add Savatage stuff to the tour this year given that they are working on a new album
Seems like they did! Opened the show with a portion of "Hourglass." Zak Steven's sounded so glorious.
I can't wait for them to drop the new Savatage stuff next year@@HunterRouth
Yeah, I was so excited to hear Jon reveal he was working on another true Savatage album. Even more when he said he planned on recording enough at once for multiple albums in case he wanted to release more later. Chris Caffery has a clip on his KZread channel playing it. It sounds good and I was surprised to hear it was him on vocals for the demo. He can pull off Jon's sound rather well.
@@Metallian81 well Jon said they had to put it on hold due to his back injury hopefully after the tour they can pick back up again
They had Zak Stevens sing This Isn’t What We Meant, and he was amazing!! So awesome so see him sing that again. They also did The Hourglass as the opener.
Caffrey is so underrated. Thanks for this!
Believe me. I feel the exact same way and I was in tears. It was such a great moment for him.
@@HunterRouth So glad theyre doing this song this year. TSO is as close to Savatage as we will get and the more 'Tage they do the happier I am LOL
Well you will get new Savatage music next year@@chihlichihlidog
maple neck?
I believe so. Yes.
