I LOVE the looks you made! I think of Moonlit Seduction as a fall and wintery color story in my head, but it’s way more versatile than that! I will say, even though they aren’t the baked formula, I do love the “special shades” in this palette. They are just pretty. But I think the platinum shade you used on your lower lash line of the second look is probably my most used shade in the palette. I love it so much. I tend to use the Pat single Statuesque with this palette as I don’t always want a berry-ish crease. I wish a similar shade was included in the palette to replace one of the two berry shades.

Thank you so much for watching and for your comment; I'm so happy to read that you love the looks 😘😘😘 When looking at it, it sure gives autumn and winter vibes, but when using it, colors come to life and it can be worn whenever I think. The platinum color is so unique and different from all the other colors Pat McGrath Labs have done. I know many would prefer a color like Statuesque or Ultimate Taupe instead of having the 2 darker mid tone colors in the palette, but since they can be toned out so easily, I personally don't mind. ❤

Although this is my least favorite mothership, it still makes pretty looks, I can’t deny! I do think there are plenty of everyday looks to be made with this one. I really liked both of yours! I wish the LuxeTrance formula would make a comeback!! It was so beautiful!!! I have my fingers crossed we get a very nice surprise when the next mothership is released!!!

Thank you so much for the comments 😘😘😘 Sunlit Seduction is also one of my least favourites and I agree with you about the possibility of making pretty looks with it. I'm happy to read you like the ones I made. 😉 And I'm totally with you on the LuxeTrance; it is the best formula and the fact that it is so longlasting and has no smell to it is a big win to me. I've been hoping for a comeback but did get some backups of my favourite colors. 💄 Uhhh yeah, fingers crossed here too 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Soon we'll see the inspiration photos!

Ooohhh! New intro music!🎶 FUN!!! Your first look was perfect for everyday in the summer! It was so fresh! I love the coral matte in the palette for spring and summer! I love watching you do liquid liner! I love that you can do it where it just compliments a look so well without becoming a LINER heavy look. I need to practice more!! I have some liquid shadows I like to use as liner. Your second look was beautiful, too! What a versatile palette!

Thank you so much for your comment and for watching the video - yeah, changed up the music again 😂 I really liked the outcome as well, and the coral shadow sure is very summerlike. I love liners, and looks with liners where they kinda compliment the look and not take over. The liquid eyeshadow from PMG Labs are also awesome to use like liners, or the metallic and duochrome shades with some mixing medium or Duraline from Inglot. (Did that in my next video) 😘😘😘

I wanted this palette for the longest time & now I have two! 😬 The explanation is I immediately bought it when PML released it in the Star Wars palette (& what a frustrating release that was) However I yearned for the original box (I know, I’m an idiot) so when that came back & with a gold palette inside I couldn’t resist! 😆💕

The texture of all the colors in the palette and the smell is so lovely. Unfortunately I don't pull it out that often although I really love it 🫣 (And btw I have extras of 3 Motherships, although it's not because of the outer box)

I most often reach into MS III for the special shades. I use them a lot with pink looks all spring-especially the 2 on the top and bottom right. I actually love all of the special shades in Subversive! I feel like Subversive is really versatile. You can do something light with the skinshow shade, a little brown in the crease, and the bottom right special shade for sparkle that’s pretty subtle for me OR you can go all out glam. I love that!!! I loved your looks!

I cannot use Bronze Seduction without using VR Fire Opal. When I try, my finger still wanders over to the shade and it ends up in my lid somewhere. 😂 It’s my favorite Pat McGrath baked special shade of all. I actually pull it out Bronze Seduction all the time just for that shade. If I were recreating your second look, one little light touch of VR Fire Opal would have ended up right in the center of my lid before I could stop myself 😂 I definitely use my Motherships for daytime! They are truly to beautiful too beautiful to only use for special occasions. In fact, I dip in to my Pat shadows in some form just about every day even if I’m not using the whole palette. 98% of the time there is a Pat shadow on my face every day! You made two gorgeous very daytime looks!

I think both are extremely daytime friendly! I’d wear both to the grocery store! But I’m fancy like that!! 😂😂😂 I rewound to watch you do the eyeliner horizontal trick 3 times. Even little flicks get difficult as my eyes get more hooded over time! I need to try that technique tomorrow (and I need to get some brown liquid liner!) I loved the highlighting shade with the pink on the borders and the lower lid in look #2. That was gorgeous!! I love taking advantage of lower lid space!! And about the brown eyeliner, it's really good to still get the effect of a winged liner and fuller lashes, without it being too dark/harsh as a black can be with certain looks, brown is a bit more discrete 😉 The highlighter/lighter color on the border can be really beautiful - glad you like it too! And it makes me super happy to read that you feel inspired by my videos, that inspires me to keep going and make more 😘❤

Malene, As you know I am a big fan of Pat McGrath but her editorial looks are not meant for the average person but the looks you create show how her palettes can work 😊💕

Thank you for your comment; and yes I remember that you too are a big fan of Pat McGrath 😉 I can agree with you about the editorial looks. To me they serve as an inspiration, but many of the looks would not look good on mature skin as I have. I'm happy to read you think my looks work on the average person ☺️😘😘😘

Thank you for your comment 😘😘😘I'm very happy to read you are gonna give this palette a try, because it honestly is a real gem! And if you feel that you get stuck in a look, just pull out a "safe" palette to finish the look. Also remember Natashas anatomy of the palettes, you can use the colors you see in squares (like a quad), diagonal or the row for looks if you get stuck/lost. 😉 I'm sure you will fall in love with the palette once you try it out! 😍

I loved your two looks. The Velvet Liaison palette was one of my favorite finds of 2023. I’ve always loved the Pat McGrath mattes, and these were amazing . I use this palette all the time! I have 2-3 of the FetishEyes liquid shadows. I don’t use them as much as I should. I always like them when I use them, I think I just work with powder shadows so much more, I feel intimidated by the liquids so I don’t reach for them. It’s silly because they work so well and last on my oily hooded lids. As usual when I watch any of your videos, I’m now inspired to use them like you did! I’m wearing the green tomorrow!

Thank you so much for your comment and yay 🥳 So happy to read that you are gonna wear FetishEYES Longwear Liquid Eye Shadow tomorrow! 👌🏼🥰 Also happy to read you got the Velvet Liason palette and are getting a good use out of that one; for me this was my second time digging into it, but only just got it like 1 or 2 months ago. I did have a feeling that it's the consistency of the FetishEYES that makes people forget about it, since we are so used to wearing powder shadows, although these are easy to work with. Always happy to inspire - and hope you'll have fun creating your look tomorrow and use them more often, also if only just as a pop of color 😘😘😘

This palette makes your eyes stand out, both are a gorgeous look 😍 Out of the numerous nude palettes that I own, this is my absolute favorite! Natasha never puts out a bad palette, they're all gorgeous. The biggest "issue" I personally have with her palettes is self control, I want to buy every single one 😂

Awww thank you so much for the compliment; I'm happy to read you like the looks 😊😘😘😘 And your comment! It really is a beautiful nude palette, I can agree to that, and Natasha Denona palettes are in general gorgeous because of the quality of the shadows, and the way they are put together. I don't have them all however, but will be sure to make videos with the ones I do have in my collection 😉

@@MNMMOMMA2 Yeah, that's strange - I don't know what happened, but I got it in an email and read it. 😊 I've heard a lot of good things about Colourpop, my I personally only have the Stonecold fox (I think it's called), and funny enough that's also another nude/neautral palette (so bet you also have). Since I live in Europe, it's a bit more expensive and difficult to get it over here. P. Louise - I have her primer and some lashes I had to cut, but have yet to try her eyeshadows! I've been liking the formula of some of Jeffree Stars eyeshadow palettes, and will also do some videos with those too soon, although not every likes him as a person, he does make awesome makeup in my personal opinion. 😉 Sounds cool that your youngest daughter is a MUA too, I hope she gets to try and do what she dreams about, because there is a lot of competition out there, and a lot of free work for getting to show what you can do, and then some luck to get in contact with someone that can recommend you (been there done that). Being a makeup artist is amazing, to get to enhance people's beautiful features making them see the best versions of themselves with a big smile on their face it all worth it. And the fun with working on movies and fashion shoots and shows and .... well the list goes on 🥳

Why not show the whole face look after each?

  • @TheArtistMalene
    @TheArtistMalene4 ай бұрын

Thank you for your comment! Sure I could show my whole face after having done 1 look, but then the other eye would be "naked" and might look more weird than seeing 2 different looks. Of course I could also show just 1/2 of my face so you get an impression as to how the full look is 😉

I have the Triochrome palette and I use it all the time! I’m olive toned and the greens work well for me. Purples are my favorite colors to wear so the first 2 rows are my go to! I like the third row, but the first 2 rows are my favorites. The colors are gorgeous, but also sort of muted and very “wearable”! I loved the looks you made! I’m going to recreate the first one tomorrow! ❤

Oh wauv, your first Natasha Denona palette was the Love Palette; I remember that there was some issues with some of the colors in a batch, but I was lucky with mine and hope you were too with yours! And yes, perfect time to dust it off and use it, it really is pretty! I'm happy to keep reminding you of how much you like your palettes and to inspire to use them again 😉 Next week TrioChrome 🥳

Both of these looks are beautiful and the colors really bring out your eye color! ! I have this quint and I’ve only worn it a few times. It’s nice, I just sort of forget about it. It doesn’t pop into my head as I’m thinking about what eyeshadow I want to wear. I’ve worn the other quint I have from the holiday, Bronze Ecstasy, much much more. Isn’t it funny how that works. It’s like you said, it makes a pretty look, but it’s just not the most inspiring.

Thank you so much for your comment 😘 I'm happy to read you like the looks ☺️ The red in the palette make the green pop a bit more for sure. I can totally relate to what you wrote about the palette being one you forget about, because to me, when on the eyes the colors are too alike and that means that you can't make that many variations, because each look is gonna look very much the same. 🫣 I only got it because it was on sale with the price heavily reduced!

I really love this ND palette! Like many of her palette, several colors look a bit similar on the eye, but I don’t care. My looks always come out beautifully when I use it. For a non artist like me, it just means it’s more foolproof for me to use! I could say the same about Yucca, Xenon, and Bronze…and I love them too. I love the way you did the darkest color first on the first look. I’ve never tried doing that in that way and with that shape with everything sort of slanting in one direction, but I will! I almost always start with the crease, but I like playing around and trying new things and different methods and different shapes. You never know what works for you or with different formulas until you try! (Which is why I love your videos so much. You give the best shape and color combo inspiration!!) (Also love your lilac sweater! It’s a great color on you!)

Thank you so much for your comment! And I totally get what you are saying about the palette; because there are endless gorgeous nude spectra possibilities although they might look a bit alike, if you play and experiment, beautiful looks will happen 🥰 I'm happy to inspire you again to try something for you that is new, in terms of how to start with the dark and not in the crease 😉 In a way it's a very "safe" palette, but it can still be fun to play with, and you can always dip into other palettes for a touch of colour! 🥳 Thank you so much for the compliment on my sweater, I really like it too (good secondhand bargain 😉) 😘😘😘
