It’s a trend, basically the modern equivalent of a quote photo for a song background, but without context explained. I’m not super versed on Naruto but I believe the message with this clip is about being strong and “fight the good fight with all you’ve got, even if it takes everything out of you” Essentially there is a cultural context, even if it isn’t explicitly implied or even explicitly received.
