  They do have property taxes, SD doesn't have state income tax.

  I'm afraid that by asking people from other places to move to S.D. you are certainly making S.D. just like other places. The main factor that makes S.D. different is its low population so not only are you bringing in more people, you are bringing them from the places you say they helped ruin, so I must question your motivation for wanting to increase the population there when you know that population IS the problem.

  I grew up in SD. Winters seemed colder back then. It really isn’t that bad. If you want it somewhat milder, you can move to the “banana belt”, Rapid City.

  A 48 hour test is essentially meaningless. If your readings are low you should do a 1 year or longer test. If it’s high after a week of testing, you should probably just get a mitigation system, not worth the risk.

  Hello! Thank you for this video, super informative! If you don't mind, I have a few questions for you. We are a family of 5, 3 young kiddos, all under 6 years old. I grew up here in California, we do live in a smaller town near the Sacramento Area. We are a Korean-American family. I grew up here all my life so pretty "Americanizied" but my wife is from Korea. I have been interested in South Dakota, am a HUGE fan of your Governor! As an Asian American family, should we have concerns? My wife is concerned about Racism.

  These type of videos are going to attract so many broke losers that ultimately are going invade your state social welfare system...plain and simple. This population are going to be nightmare tenants for the landlords, and on and on and on. I have endured a few of these "big city flights" over my years in north Idaho and now SW Florida, which is currently being overran by people able to pay 20% above asking price for property they haven't even seen. The rents for the native Floridians have almost doubled (in like 5yrs!)...this place is turning into San Diego. What happened, still is actually happening in north Idaho was more of the same. My cute little town of Post Falls went from 1,400 people to over 40k and now the infrastructure can't handle it's a nightmare! It was never advertised as a cheap place, but rather a better place than SoCal and the ones that could afford came in droves. You guys on the other hand are calling in a demographic you want nothing to do with, and your long-term residents are going to pay dearly. Finally, the retirees from Chicago aren't coming to your city, but rather 50 miles out in a nice little and quiet small town...ultimately just the losers are going to come to the city thanks to this type of messaging.

  So. My newlywed wife and i are talking about moving to sioux falls this next coming tax season. We live in Rapid City now. We hope to have about 15k saved when we move. And are looking more for a rental do you deal with finding rentals? Id like to call anyway to talk more about the move and what might be possible when we commit to it

  I am hoping to make it there soon! Currently checking everything out to see if it’s a good fit for my husband and I. Then we want to visit for a weekend to see how we feel about it and then we will start looking for jobs and a place to live I really hope it works out! So far I am so impressed with this gorgeous state 😅❤

  I would not move east of the Missouri river like Sioux falls, winters are horrible. If you are considering relocating there, think SW, the winters are milder. Only buy a place with a garage...hail is a big destroyer of cars and roofs in SD.

  Correct, stalls is referring to the garage. A 1 stall means there is room for 1 vehicle for example. Let us know if you have any other questions!
