He made his whole media persona about his sexuality. He could have laughed the negative media attention off and continuing doing good things for charity and made good music for his fans but he had to focus on the media and he lost that battle in his head. What a waste.

And George getting more community service (not for anything lewd) but for this time fly-tipping, helping out Annie Lennox with some old fridge/freezers?! My god I was laughing out loud, had to watch that bit 3 times! He delivered the lines so well he could have done some acting.. RIP bro, you were a true individual and true talent.

I remember the Freddy Mercury tribute and AIDS awareness concert. This was when I realized what a great live performer George Michael was. No artist at that event, even Elton John, was as pitch perfect and immaculately presented as George Michael. He was everything that one hopes to see at a live concert: that the artist will be as good as, or even better than their albums. I don’t think there is any mystery about George Michael’s death; he had been declining rapidly for years. The various reports of his sexual encounters and drug fueled binges highlighted this. I think it is also very hard for a gay man with such high standards for his appearance and performance to get old, especially when that aging is accelerated by decades of hard partying. He was only 53 when he died, but probably looked a decade older. Sadly, some of the most tortured souls gravitate towards the entertainment industry and it destroys them.

In 4 Tagen hätte Georgios Geburtstag 🎉. R.I.P.

I don't care about his sexuality he was great man and a great artist. What he did in his bedroom was Nobody's business. So why is it important. I love this beautiful man and no matter what people think about his personal business everybody should have let him be. I love that beautiful man and I'm a melinated woman from Cali and I still love him to this day !! People worry about the wrong things he has made some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. He was absolutely a great Man and I love him. People killed him bothering him about something he didn't owe anyone, his personal life. Rest Peacefully Gorge Michael I still love you and your music thank you for all the memories and your beautiful voice I'll never forget you. I wish you were still here. 😢😢😢😢😢 Cali loves you ❤ !!

We all know (the public) that when someone chooses to be what they are (music, sports, film & TV) that your private life basically doesn't exist anymore but when articles like these who take aim at the person (usually for financial gain and fame themselves) that's when journalists will look at their work and say I'm not doing anything wrong, I did this because it's my job and everyone will know I got my information from people who know him and by what he does himself, they don't see the damage it does to the individual that he's writing about, he's just looking at the payday afterwards.

I don't know how many times I've seen the documentaries about George. I just need to see him from time to time.😔 In this documentary here I am in tears when the pictures of the concert for the nurses come on. He lost his mom and in his grief he gives the nurses and relatives this unforgettable moment. ♥️ Could he have stopped listening to 'Last Chrismas' sometimes? Perhaps. But whoever feels his heart, feels how this moment in this concert was for George when the nurses' choir sang Last Chrismas. How it warmed his heart. So powerful and full of Love. With this song George has created something for Eternity. Many will get to know him through this song, for many it will be the only song they hear from him. But many will also see who is behind this song. And then they will see how much more George was than this song. They will realize why we are forever connected in Love to George. It's not just that beautiful and indescribable voice, his incredible musical talent. It's George the man with the beautiful Heart. I am happy and grateful that he was allowed to experiens Love in his private life. I am sad that he had to go on his Journey so early and could no longer live his life here in Love. But it was his time to go on his Journey. And our Love will carry him to heaven. Fly free beautiful Soul George. I will always love and miss you. Love from Germany. ♥️🙏🕯🩵🦋🕊
