  the M4 sound is the weak point for sure. the handling is a huge strength. I have owned at least 3 BMWs, even my old 6 series V8 sounds much better than the M4 competition. ALso the gear box on the M4 is amazing. The steerting feel is terrible.

  They are totally different cars. The M5 is a better all round-a that can fit 4 people easily and go do your grocery shopping. The M850 is very long and the back seats are ok. Both cars drives excellent I found the 8 series are better built but the M5 is way faster
