I go back and forth with this guy. Sometimes I think he is a clever artist, yet sometimes he seems like a stoned idiot who somehow made a couple films.

It is the best way to keep us divided by destroying places such as pubs as these where environments to `let off steam` and exchange ideas about what is actually going on. Too dangerous for the powers that be. Best to keep people at home watching crap TV to keep us sedated along with prescription drugs. People have to Wake Up!!!!

herzog operated, for most of his career, near the utmost extent of frugality. "apocalypse now" had a budget of $31 million, while "aguirre" had a budget of just $370,000: and this was before digital, when film itself actually cost money. so when you're making a movie like "fitzcarraldo" or "aguirre" on a budget like that, and you actually have to buy the film in addition to everything else, you don't have much to spare for "coverage." he talks about this in "conquest of the useless," which is a fantastic book

I remember her in Eve of Destruction and watching her closely. She sounded American for sure, but always appeared like she was trying hard to sound like it. But a great job for an actress whose native tongue is not English!

It's great that he's simultaneously evolving with the times and is yet still the same person who appeared on Letterman and spoke with Werner Herzog at Telluride. Harmony is great.

INCREDIBLE film! I just saw it last night and I’m still blown away, just digesting bits in my mind today. Masterpiece of filmmaking, wow! Yes, I did hate the character of Bobita at first but by the middle of the film I was so carried away by the acting of Ms Manolache and Radu Jude’s mind blowing film that by the time we got to the old Uranus neighborhood, I had tears in my eyes. Love love love Bobita now. Great interview! Radu Jude- true creative artist❤ Do Not Expect too Much/End of World is a brilliant film. My number one favorite movie this year.

I have to congratulate the interviewer. Good questions, good research, good understanding of the film and the different layers and backgrounds...and a great pace on the timing and body language. Jude always gives you more than what you can expect, but anyway a good interviewer makes always the difference.

Margaret Thatcher broke the unions and took away free school milk, And did so much harm to the industrial north of Britain. Ken Loacheś films are exceptionally great at showing the suffering caused by that woman and the like. Look at the world through the eyes of the poor!

Vito Cuti
