I'm new to all of this, so pardon my ignorance... If I set my manuscript paper size to 5.5" x 8.5" do I create a book cover that is 5.5" x 8.5" also? Or does the book cover have to be bigger? How much bigger?

Love your craft cart!!! It actually just inspired something for me that I've been trying to figure out. One thing though: Be careful about Temu!!! I was obsessed, and still love what I've gotten through it in a variety of categories, BUT there's a lot of sketchy things about them like selling your information to the black market. Obviously, up to you what you do with that, but I wanted to let you know since it helped me get rid of my account. Either way, I totally get why you love Temu!

Ooooh I love morning routines and loved what you said about having purpose in the morning. I've been trying to coax myself to get up earlier to do a morning routine and this just invigorated me to do it. I actually started my "planning journey" with a bullet journal, I liked it but I'm not good at doing all the perfect division to make it look not wonky.. like in the monthly calendars for instance. Plus it takes so much time to set up, time I honestly just don't have 🥲 since this video, I have found a lot of success with using happy planners and I am also trying out the Daily Grind planner now. 😁

I loved your video! I really enjoyed the fact that you aren't that familiar with the Bridgerton series, and yet you still love this Be Happy Box! I am a little familiar with the series, but I haven't watched much. So, I felt kind of weird ordering the box. However, now I feel better about it. lol The you re-purposed the box is wonderful! Both things look great! The way you are changing up and making the notebook fit your needs is so cool! I love what you did with it. Plus, I love both set of pink discs that you put on the planner. I wish HP had put the flower cut out discs on a soft pink, like the last set you had on it. Gold discs are one of my least favorite. lol However, I will keep these ones, because they are different! I ordered both of the Amazon exclusive planners, mostly to get those bee cutout discs! haha Once I got the planners though, they really are beautiful. Take care! I would love to see more videos on how you use this Be Happy Box.

Thanks so much! I need those bee cutout discs like YESTERDAY but I honestly and sincerely do not need the planners they come on. I hate that they don't sell 'em separately. I also don't like gold as much, I really prefer pretty colors on my metal discs. It doesn't bother me to have color in the middle of the page from the discs because I see it as separate from whatever's on the page... just like I wouldn't be concerned with if something "matched" a silver notebook coil. haha.

The Nordic brights is my absolute favorite theme HP has come out with in such a long time. I really wish they would go more in that direction with their designs sometimes.

Yeah, I am also disappointed that all the designs I actually liked from the Happy Planner are all so old now - from previous years - and impossible to find, and when you do find them, they're outrageously expensive and you'd just have to redate them anyways. I also liked the Nordic Brights. Personally I have a strong affinity for whimsical designs, royal stuff, and super girly stuff and they just don't really do those very often. It's either farmhouse, abstract, small illustrated florals, or animal print and I am not here for it :(

Oh I love this!!! Bridgerton is one of my favorite shows! Lady Whistledown is the anonymous author of the society gossip papers. She's narrated by Julie Andrews. It's her thing to open with Dearest Reader, and refer to herself as this author. In the show, Queen Charlotte is trying to find out who Whistledown is and when Whistledown catches on, she writes "your move your majesty" so that's where that line cones from

What comes to the paper. I have found copy paper that is 120gms and that hold pretty well on happy planner disks. I take copies from pages a lot and use my own pages for journaling and had to find something that holds those mushroom punches well and the normal copy paper that is 80gms can not do that at all. It is so flimsy that you lose them after first week of using them. But I was really happy with finding that thicker copy paper. It has really been a big saver for me.
