Well, that escalator quickly
Whats this
New six flags ride.
Deceleration is just negative acceleration so... Technically correct But still, fuck the title
So fast it’s a blur.
When you remember that Chinese woman who got sucked into an escalator like a trapdoor monster, Canadian escalator disasters have it pretty good.
Granville Station Moment💀
This was lame to watch
This is why we need the dislike button
Appears to be a fluorescent ballast that overheated and caught fire, because either the thermal protector failed in the "welded closed" mode, or it was a very old ballast that didn't have thermal protection, fixtures were required to come with thermally protected ballasts around 1968, and all replacement ballasts except for simple reactance ballasts from 1984 onwards must be thermally protected A common and often overlooked cause of ballast overheating is the use of energy saver 34 or 35 watt F40 lamps in fixtures with normal or "low" power factor ballasts common before the 1980s, these were often designed to operate ONLY genuine 40 watt lamps and tend to run hotter when energy saver lamps aka Watt-Meiser, Econ-O-Watt are used. Facilities with limited budgets and well-meaning custodians often make the mistake of installing energy saver lamps as the original 40 watt lamps burn out in an attempt to save on energy costs whether or not the ballasts in use are compatible. The fact that many lighting catalogs since about the late 1980s touted lower wattage substitutes as a great way to save money and the environment doesn't help matters any unless you also look at the footnotes and read the fine print, which I suspect more often than not isn't done.
I kept looking at the left side because I expected bloody carnage and that thought that's why it's pixelated...
What I thought: uncontrollable chaos, screams of torment, severed limbs everywhere What I got: one guy went *wheee
made in china
Who's still watching this at May 2024?
A moment of silence for the people who thought the escalator will go very fast. 💀
In IB-EL 2023-01 there is only mention about single dwellings, does the same augmented load method apply in office building scenario ? ( each office unit is fed by separate meter / service, one of the units wants to add a charger at the rear of the unit )
AND THEN IT COMES TO A STOP! As it should. This shows the importance of redundancies and the ability for a machine to detect that something is going wrong. Well done
New fear unlocked
Lost 88 seconds of my life becase I rewatched it to be sure what I missed the first time. 🙄
I wanna be friends with the one who raised both hands. 😂
Waste of time
For the better version kzread.info/dash/bejne/o3lmrthmpJyoeM4.htmlfeature=shared
Literally just had this happen in my kitchen baseboard heater. It made a sound like a wire shorting out then spewed flames
Nice work!
Well done Roach!!
Awesome!!!!
Very proud brother over here 🙌🏼🙌🏼
its all fun and games til the escalator accelerates faster
From escalator to just normal stairs.
This is a joke I reported my landlord for electrical plumbing and removal of walls in the suit below me he even went as far as Jack hammering the concrete to rip out plumbing with not 1 permit now my breakers keep tripping and my drains keep backing up but was told by my landlord they phoned him told him who called and he said they would not be checking it out and not 1 person has come to my knowledge or my cameras so why report why pull permits and yes I sent photos of all the electrical walls and plumbing that was removed
Apparently in my home town some teenager was doing this and fell when the mall security grabbed him to take him off. Although the teen was being unsafe, it was determined that the security guard was at fault for the actual fall, since they physically grabbed the teen to pull them off the escalator.
Moderately impressed
they lived my dream i really did have a dream like this
Anyone else was looking to the left the whole time and had to see the comments and realize it was the one on the right?

Does fluorescent ballast catch fire?

Every home, RV, and Boat that has Propane appliances should also have a CO Detector. Great video, thanks !

Young Justice?
CLICKBAIT
good thing that when an escalator breaks, they just become stairs
eh... in china they become maneaters
Not true, I just saw a video of an escalator in China that rapidly accelerated without stopping. It is very important to have these safety mechanisms and to inspect them regularly.
Egad.
Lame video
This video was about as useful as tits on a nun.
