From now on you can follow my projects on youtube! Central will be my social art, reflection on this kind of practice, new ideas, and the promotion of my favorite inspiration sources like artistic saboteurs and mischievous outsider artists/makers. I guess this channel will develop into unknown territories. It would be great to record conversations with colleagues (when I find the guts), tutorials, courses, cooking shows (like I included vegan mayonnaise and seitan recipe shows in my graduation exhibition), recordings of actions and reviews (books/shows?. I don't know, perhaps even useful ideas from the occult and the visits to megalithic structures. Well see, starting is the biggest issue, the rest will enrol itself;)

I want to wheatpaste my woodcut prints. What ink do you recommend for that?
Hi there, I recommend oil based ink, but as long as its water resistant its ok (some water based inks do dry properly without solving after drying).
I enjoyed this video so so much. Thank you. I am also starting a paste up proyect with a human rights message
How do you prevent your posters from buckling and getting wavy?
Thanks for your interest: Put some glue on the surface, stick the poster on the wall, smooth the poster with your brush/broom and seal the poster with an extra layer of glue on top of the poster. If you want the posters to be completely smooth, you can choose to first smear the paper with glue. Then it expands and pulls super tight as it dries. Wet posters are only very inconvenient if you stick them outside during windy weather.
SICK video
Very quick, love this idea. chi miigwech
Thank you! Did you know you can now download a set and print them yourself for a glue action in your town? Ill post the link if you are interested!
Like this man said don't wheatpaste over other people's graffiti!! It is art, even if you don't think so, and the artists behind it take it very seriously. It is viewed as disrespect to cover or damage someone else's graffiti art and they will follow suit to fight back! Can also get you beat up, robbed and whatnot. Work with your local graffiti artists!! Most of us are good dudes and enjoy political commentary and art of all kinds and will gladly help you out, hell we'll even make sure nobody else touches your art (some graffiti writers will disregard wheatpaste or other forms of street art because it's "not graffiti" and pretend it's not even there, but even they will respect someone's art if the community is behind you- hell if the community likes you enough we'll beat up people for going over your art) Just remember we all share the walls for our art!
Respect goes a long way, I agree
how do i print my own designs? or like what material of paper is best? im thinking of doing like 5 posters around town or so
Just start with xeroxing, normal b&w copy's on thin 70 or 80 grams paper will do. Later you can figure out how to screen print, or just order big format posters at your cheap printerette or press.
What kind of paper do you use? Is normal printable A4 paper fine?
Yea, thin paper works faster than thick paper. Mind that you dont print with a inkjet printer unless it uses water resistant ink(rare). Normal copy machines, riso prints, laser prints, silkscreen prints with acrylic ink and all ink that is oil based will not dissolve by the glue.
thx 😊
If u don't have a Lot of Posters or Just don't need soo much glue.. Just use an empty plastic bottle for the glue and sponge to aplly its way handier and U can easly throw IT away
Thanks, yes, bottles are handy if you plan to glue just around 20 posters or bit more. i use a bidon (bicycle bottle), its really handy to take with me, combined with a small brush or roller(even better) handy gear to glue during a trip to another city.
Recent opgehangen poster gespot bij den bosch centraal trouwens, het gaat voort!
Geweldig, lang leve de wildplakkers! Waar heb jij trouwens je poster's vandaan? Zelf geprint, besteld/van mij gehad?

I need to see your art in my town.., Ceuta, Frontera del Tarajal... You are welcome !!
Love the video, thanks for the tips
First step. Not doing that. Guess I won’t be a wheatepaste artist.
Remarkable initiative, touching motivation.
How to keep ink from smearing? I'm using an old HP household printer. I've tried normal paper and heavy weight paper. The black ink smears instantly.
Hi there, that's the problem with inkjet printers, some of them can print with water-resistant ink, but standard they print with water-soluble ink. The best is to print with toner-based printers like laser printers(normal copy machines) or order somewhere your posters and ask if the ink is water resistant. Offset and silkscreen prints are often used outdoors.
Very helpful video!
Thanks for sharing this information. i appreciate it.
Definitely been looking at this style of art for advertising thanks for the breakdown 👌🏾
well done
I love this video….especially when your actually pasting the posters on the wall. What size are those posters?
Thanks! the posters are around DIN A2. almost the same size as the original woodcuts of 40/60 cm
Excellent video! Thank you.
Where did you print the posters? I would like to print my own designs aswell...
it's a Dutch newspaper press called Rodi rotatie druk. It is cheap for the quantity but the downside is that you need to order 5000+ newspapers. Where are you based? I would suggest to find a riso printer to print a2. A lot of Street artists like JR also use black and white laser printers, though I don't know a afordable address for that.
Ship to Mexico 🇲🇽? Saludos 🖖
yes please, though the shipping costs are really high. I made a pdf with all the portraits cut in 4xa4, so you can print it and glue in yourself. are you interested?
Beautiful portraits!
Wow that's pretty gay tbh. I will use this knowledge to put up hate symbols everywhere just to troll people thanks
Great Video and great art Dude!
Beautiful work so inspiring
Man,it’s awesome!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, great to hear it resonates!
do you make your art in some digital art software and then print it on a machine?
Hi there, thanks for the interest. It's a pure analogue process of drawing on plywood, cutting it out, inking the plate, putting paper on it and pressing it with a press. In this video you find more info: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKh1yKSQh7WZhco.html
If you like you can also print this work yourself: I made a self printable pdf with every portrait cut in 4 x a4 parts, for the people who live far away, perhaps interesting for you? drive.google.com/file/d/1fWZCl65tnV6NX2_gvCuNjKa6bc_IykFa/view?usp=sharing
thank you! Bravo!
It's a very fine project!
You want your people to be replaced?
Why all your posters have black people on them, you don’t like your own people
How do I get a set of posters would love stick them up in New Zealand 🇳🇿

Homes are encroaching that’s why you have to move. Too bad.
Yeah, I gentrified myself away:)
What kind of paper should i use and can it be colored photos?
I like to use thin paper, like blanc newspaper paper, because it's difficult to scratch away and dissolve fast by glue. Any printing process is good, as long as the ink is water-resistant.
Eric andre sent me here.
Hi Fedrico, Eric who? Do you need some experience in pasting posters?
i like ur clothes, cool style.
Fantastic video looks great too.

@@DomeniqueHimmelsbachdeVries how long does the paste last once it’s in the bucket? What I mean is if you went out pasting one night would you have to use it on that night?
@danielbee8834 Hi there, good question. The average instant dissolved glue powder would last for at least a week or more, depending on the climate. I keep my bucket in my studio fridge, which enhances its freshness. Adding wood glue significantly enhances its durability due to its preservatives. I've kept some of this mixed glue for half a year in my fridge without it decaying.
