Hi from Japan! I got my big bike license and... I just bought the same bike as yours, haha! Just only this year model, new. Waiting it from the dealership now.
Wow Congratulations, brother! Welcome to the 1000sx team! You will really love her! I am jealous haha Japan is the perfect place for the Ninja 1000! What color is your 1000sx?
@@LiterFreedom Thank you! It is a Metallic Diablo Black x Metallic Phantom Silver.
180 not 360
You’re right lol Idk why I kept saying 360 haha Thanks for the correction, brother! Hope you ride safe out there!

I’ve always loved Taiwan , subscribed from Singapore. Just bought my N1k in April , after riding a GS , Diavel & Busa , this is light & easy & cheap to run . Definitely tour more now , just for the fun of it. I ride into Malaysia & Thailand ( super beautiful roads )
@@rajindarsingh1417 have you been to Taiwan, 🇹🇼 brother? I’d love to go ride in Singapore, I was in Thailand recently but I didn’t have a motorcycle to ride out there unfortunately haha I truly loved Thailand, it was much better than expected. You’re a lucky man! I’m happy you’re enjoying you’re 1000sx as much as me! I’m slowly becoming a full on loyal fan to Kawasaki but I flirt with the idea of getting a S1000rr haha Thank you for subscribing and helping to grow the channel! Ride safe, brother!
Why don't you have the hard bags.....?
Good question… 1- save the money 2-my bike is lowered so I’d have to go back to the stock height in order to fit the kawi bags 3- I don’t like how the OEM bags open, it’s inconvenient to carry backpacking gear with them. My givi bags are a bit better for that particular reason. There are many reasons for why the Kawasaki bags are great but in my specific case I’m ok with the GIVI bags! Thanks for watching, brother! Hope you subscribe for more content on two wheels!
Get the Akra headers.I have the full Akrapovic exhaust with a K&N air filter, ECU flashed by Moore Mafia in SC USA. Bike is a whole new animal. Responsive and keeps pulling after 9K. Sound is my favorite part of the upgrade, I had a Leo Vince Factory S muffler before I installed the full exhaust system and the sound is night and day difference. Also saved a ton of weight once the cat and factory headers were off.
@@ehiggins7476 I appreciate the advice! Would you be interested in participating in a video for this channel? You could make a short video of the sound of the bike to help others choose the best one for themselves! I was actually looking into the Akrapovic headers since I already have the slip on, it sounds like it might be the best option but I’ve heard some other brands that also sound amazing! What kind of power are you getting out of your bike with the full exhaust?
My first bike was a GSX-S750 about to trade it in on a 1000sx next spring. Ride safe.

All your concerns are somewhat valid. I' not wondering about your fuel consumption if you allmost using 1st and 2nd gear while you driving though village or small chilling streets (at least in this video). Here in Germany, citizens are really sensitive about Motorbike noise. So I allmost use high gears driving with my 1000SX, e.g. 5th gear though villages at 50km/h and the SX does not feel to have a problem with ths (compared to other bikes). So fuel consuption goes easily down to 5.2l/100km - yes, as well 6.2l ore more is possible;.). Compared to similar bikes for touring or even crossover bikes, the weight and size is not that tall. As well the prices in Germany, contrasted with the competitors, are not that high. I really like that bike, because, it is two bikes in one: first ad chilling tourer on low RPM and second realy sporty while stepping two (or three) gears down. Of course, it is a compromize on both sides. Only alternative is, to own two specialized Bikes. Have you considered the Ninja 650 as well (or e.g. Hondas CB650 variants)? BTW: I see it recommended to have a short brake every hour during tours - don't matter which bike you are driving. Your country looks so nice for bike driving, have fun!
@@michaelgrund7290 I agree with most of what you said, Michael! I do enjoy riding in the higher RPM range for many reasons but the bike does consume more fuel when riding that way! I really love this bike and choosing “bad” things to talk about this bike was very hard haha I did consider a ninja 650 but I don’t like that engine for the purpose of long riding days with a passanger and heavy gear going uphills for several hours. The only other bike I’d consider to replace the 1000sx would be the Ninja H2 Sx. I saw your profile picture and I love the green color you got on your 1000sx! I appreciate all your inputs, brother! Hope you subscribe for more content on the 1000sx! Ride safe, brother!
@@LiterFreedom Thanks for your answer! My SX is the green 2020er version as sport touring version . Without Family and enough money, I would have 4 Bikes;-). still my SX as Tourer, A Fireblade or ZX10R as super sport, An Indian Chief Darkhorse for cool cruising and a dirt bike for rural local fun. Im just looking for an old Yamaha XT600/660 from the 90th.
@@michaelgrund7290 haha I’m looking at a supersport to add to the family, either a zx10r or a s1000rr, or I could go for the H2 SX…It’s a tough decision because I really love going for long touring days and idk how much I’d like a supersport for that…A supersport sounds like much fun but it’s only made for that addictive acceleration, high speeds and extreme lean angles. I guess the 1000sx will have to do for a few more months hehe! A pleasure having you on the channel, brother! I can send you my email if you’re interested in making a short video of the sound of your 1000sx and participate in one of the videos for this channel!
@@LiterFreedom sounds interesting, but no clue, how to share mail adresses via KZread without sharing them official to all...and I have no action cam. Hi the information on the TFT display being reset is caused by the low voltage of the battery ,it occurred to me several times. Make sure checking the voltage monitor in the display or make sure ride every time for at least 20 minutes to restore the voltage from every engine start, and it doesn't happen anymore since I find it was the voltage problem. And the TW version Ninja 1000SX is 123.3 PS / 8,000 rpm ,maybe it can explain why you get difference around 8000rpm.
I will look at the voltage. 有时我骑车10分钟去咖啡店。也许电池没有足够的时间充满电。谢谢你的建议!
As soon as you talked about the horn not working, I think I know the problem after I seen it raining when was happening, I have the 2022 1000sx and brought my bike back to the dealer after riding it for 5000 miles was still under warranty and keep blowing fues, The first dealer couldn't find the problem so after 16 weeks they couldnt fix it. I took it to a different dealer with the same problem. The horn and curse control fuse would blow and then the main fuse started blowing they replaced the ECU wasn’t that. They had no idea. so, I got the bike back not fixed and bought a hand full of fuse and started replacing parts . Finally, after 8 weeks at my home I figured it out the horn cruise control wire was melting on the engine under the fuel tank. I replaced it myself just tied a sting and pulled it thru under the tank as I pulled the old one out and started working again but the line was in the same place and got melted again. I brought it to the dealer and showed them the area it was melting and this time they rerouted the wire away from the spot it was melting. Benn working fine now for over 30 weeks now.
Thats very useful information right there, brother! I will look into it. This was the first time that this has ever happened (horn not working), but, I've been riding this bike a lot in the rain! I can almost feel the throttle, seeing you barely twitch your wrist, and hearing it instantly rev up. It’s actually noticeable on video compared to before you flashed it. Thanks for the shout out! It was mostly from Norton that people had issues with from flashing their ECUs on their 400s. Looks like you had a real reputable guy flash yours. Pineapples are delicious. All we had at my HS was cows 😂 I dig the new camera! Always fun watching your videos. You’re in the process of blowing up! Watch out for those cops on that road ✌️
hahah All I had at my HS was raccoons lol It's good to warn people of the negative implications of changing anything on their bike, I appreciate you letting me know about some people having problems with their bikes after the ECU flash so people can do their own research and make a better decision! We gotta do a collab soon, man! Ride safe, brother!
One complaint I do have with the bike is the indicator lights to me very disappointing one they are not running lights like on all other bikes I had I would prefer them to light up all the time and then blink when I turn on for turns 2nd they are not LED lights but the headlight is LED makes no sense to me and 3rd since they are not also running lights the bike is dark from behind as the tail light is not that bright so I am wondering is it possible to buy something to make them also running lights and I will probably swap them for LED lights
Michael, my apologies for the delay on the response as I haven’t been using KZread in a while… I have not found a solution for the LED lights yet but I will look more into it and ask some friends, I’ll let you know what I find!

Eh, too small and expensive. Concours 14 all day long for a fraction of the cost of that thing that has no bags.
I like the Concours but…The concours was 18k new and this bike is 13k new. The concours weights like 200 pounds more too, brother. The 1000sx has basically the same bags as the concours too! If we’re talking concours weight class id go for a gold wing or even an H2SX! Ride safe, brother!
I didn’t realize ECU flashes could change so much on a bike, like your clutch for example. Was it worth it, even with all the other changes besides engine response? That’s what makes me nervous about an ECU flash, I’ve heard people destroying their bike.. The engine response looks amazing on that 1000
So actually the clutch and TFT issues happened before the ECU flashes. The ECU flash brought no issue to the bike at all, actually it helped to lessen some of the issues such as the heat or the throttle being a little snappy. The ECU flash was done by the Kawasaki dealership out here so I'm hoping they know what they were doing haha But so far no issues at all with the ECU flash. The engine response became much better after the flash for sure. Ride safe, brother!
