  What a cracking film. Really gripping. (I just drink in the exterior shots in these films, going back to my childhood and the old streets and shops and cars. Feels like time travel! How weird to have Dixon of Dock Green all snappy and bullish!

  I looked Jennifer Beals up and she is a person with blended backgrounds. Interesting choice in this movie where “black and white” society was so important to those who wanted control.

  前作の「帝都物語」と比べるとどうしても加藤の立ち位置がしっくりこない。原作では秘密結社の 統領トマーゾが覆滅の法の妨害工作をしていたのであって加藤は日本を逃れて満州で馬賊のリーダー やってた。最終的には加藤は帝都に戻りトマーゾと対峙する事になる。呪殺されたのはルーズベルト であって美大落ちチョビ髭ではなかった。「帝都大戦」は何故原作通りに作られなかったのだろう？
