I'm a big fan of old school professional bowling and old school professional wrestling...an interesting combination. Favorite pro bowlers include Pete Weber, Ernie Schlegel, Butch Soper, and Marshall Holman. Favorite pro wrestlers are Ric Flair and the rest of the classic Four Horsemen.
I'll be uploading classic bowling videos, with a focus on the mid-1990s, when I was a big fan.

Man That Never Gets Old Back to Back 😊
You wouldn't say Earl's becoming a member of the "long hair" set now, would you? 😁 2:30
kinda makes my head spin knowing that Mr. Anthony didnt go full time pro until he was THIRTY YEARS OLD. What was he doing with his life before that? The thought of him being around since,i dunno,1960…phew
The contrast between Pete and His father Dick Weber was the effect of evolving Lane Coditions❤ thanks foe these strong memories ❤revisted May 12 2024 Dobie Wan Kanobie ❤❤❤❤❤
And in 4 years from the time of this win, Earl will die in a freak falling accident at one of his friend’s house. That reminds me of this old adage: With friends like that, who needs any enemies.
I was around 6 or 7 years old when I first watched bowling on Saturdays; Earl Anthony’s dark frame glasses, crew cut, and machine-like efficiency rolling the ball set him apart. And besides, he was born in Tacoma, which is pretty much the only thing we have in common
Holman is such a bad winner....and loser actually. Cannot stand him. Enthusiasm is one thing but he is NUTS!
Wonderful memories.Videos like these need to be preserved for historical value!!!❤
Smooth delivery.
This is the best era of pro bowling.
wow - pinboys!!!
Spoiler Alert. Please watch all of the matches before you read the comments.😎
Love Ernie.... always tough bowling
❤❤❤
EA is the greatest, on and off the lanes always a class act, always cool and calm, never yelling and screaming when he won, just another day at the office. He dominated an era where it took skill, todays pros have it so much easier with todays equipment, todays pros would struggle with those older conditions and equipment
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ best xs
The goat 🐐
The greatest sports announcer of all time
good match between two lefties but i did not catch the final scores.
I think 235-224 or something close
ERNIE I HATE YOU! CHRIS HOCH
Duke... Total class and a good guy. Fun to watch. The other guy... The opposite.
Ernie has a bit of the tism
Wow, Salvino had quite the high backswing when he was young. As he got a bit older, it was a fair amount lower. Always one of my favorite pros. Last I heard, he was still bowling well into his 80's.
Schegle sucks the big one!
(3:53) Beautiful moment! Love it!
Seems like the light hit is what got the best pin action at those lanes that day
That's my dad
I'm convinced that Ernie is an alien
6:20 Webers ball hitting the pins sounds like a car backing into a parking pole...😆 🤣
None of you remember the days when the tournament leader at the end of 40 games was the winner. To lead EVERY round of qualifying is almost unheard of in the modern era. To bowl almost flawlessly and lose in a one game roll off is pretty gut wrenching. I feel for Forkel.
Hey! My name is Carson! And Dana is actually my coach now!
😮 Earl the dunken Pearl opps. Earl the Great!!! EARL. EARL EARL
Thats just nutts for Walter Ray to bowl that good and loose. Voss was the man, congrats!
That 6th frame shot by pdw could have easily been a 4-9 but he caught a great break
Earl Anthony was so smooth in his delivery, you want to become a bowler, watch him
loved watching Pro Bowlers Tour on Saturdays!
Bowled my best game at Gus Lampo Lanes while attending Oneonta University. A 257 {after opening in the 1st frame} back around 1981.
Way to coke up Pete……love Marsh.
Earl was a cyborg. Must have been a glitch in the matrix that day ........... Congrats to the elder Weber, who in the following year went on to his last professional win at age 47 in the 1977 King Louie Open. However, we will never forgive him for providing the seed that spawned PDW.
Piss on Voss
Dang and that was a great shot too
People talk smack about ernie but randy was no quiet nice guy either. I remember when he lost a match to norm duke and he started yelling at some person in the crowd
That must have been a tough loss for Brian but he handled it chill
2:37 woah waaaaa
Battle of the giants.
You know, for a hustler - whose prime was what… 30 years before this - and whose prime was never on the tour? It’s amazing that Schlegel won two majors at 50+. His first two. Throwing a straight ball in the beginning of the power era. That’s crazy.
Catherine Schlegel more intense haha
Idk why people are mad about how happy Ernie was I mean the other guy was happy when he got a strike lol I’m sure if he won he would have been just as happy
Why is everyone mad when Ernie is so happy he won did you see how happy this guy was when he strikes LOL 2:53
My goodness was that an all time fun match. And wow - you can tell both Schenkel and Burton liked Firpo - but they were all but openly rooting for Ringener.
