What's the deal with Metronome?
Metronome is a move that makes a Pokemon use a random attack out of all the available ones. The outcome is down to pure luck and that's a big part of the appeal. If this seems right up your alley, why don't you subscribe to my channel?

I poisoned Lugia in the first turn on an earlier attempt and it fought back bravely, but yeah, it had no chance.

Oh man I forgot that Empoleon swims up to opponents like that XD Also love its hit animation and those neck flexes haha Also man Blaziken really wants to fly, using all those Flying type attacks loool Also hilarious since Golduck having Damp would prevent a Draw from Self-Destruct or Explosion, but ironically Blaziken took it out first and then blew up, allowing Empoleon to stay standing XD
I love the Coliseum/XD Metronome noise. It sounds so entertaining
The genius sonority games have really good sound design in general. Lots of sounds that are just satisfying to listen to.
@@MetroNomicon777 Ice Beam was my favorite move in those games just by design alone. The literal frozen beam just looks amazing.

I've noticed these Pokémon all have 0 IVs in HP, which I'm assuming also goes for the rest of their stats. Shouldn't they all be 15 if we wanna consider them part of an 'usual' team?
This isn't meant to be a "scientific" channel. My main focus is entertainment value. I wanted it to be a close, exciting battle.
Magikarp transforms into Feebas and Feebas immediately Self-Destructs "I can't stand to see you shapeshift into me, I'm ending it!" Once Feebas used Imprison in battle 2 that sealed Magikarp's fate. In battle 3, Feebas lowered Magikarp's speed with Rock Tomb so it would always attack first, then Magikarp used Trick Room to switch it around, and poisoned Feebas with Twineedle to get the upper hand! But then Feebas restored its health with Morning Sun! That wasn't enough to save it though, the poison took it out, well done Magikarp 👏🏾
funny how it says "Fortuna's Empoleon's Bounce lost all its PP due to the grudge!". now I'm curious whether a pokémon loses all metronome PP if that happens or nothing happens at all
I always assumed it drains metronome's pp but maybe i'm wrong.

Watching Dodrio/Doduo use fly looks very unnatural it just jogs in mid-air.
When it used shadow force it looked like it panicked while being sucked into another dimension.
Triple head really likes using mud sport lol maybe it saw that thunder and said "lets do it again"
It likes playing around in the mud.
If there was Wynaut instead of Chingling and Munchlax instead of Bonsly they'd easily win.

Yup, ingrain prevents pokemon from being switched out.
@@MetroNomicon777 makes sense. But what doesn’t make sense is that Doduo is not affected by Earthquake (even though it’s a Flying type) and Magnemite is double weak to Ground type moves
The Frozen Aura around Articuno looked like it was cold
You could probably find a spot between Articuno and the volcano that has perfect room temperature.

Turn 1 instant Flamethrower, nice 😂 lol whenever the commentator says "a huge amount of damage"... it's just 1HP you know 😂 confusion is very dangerous in this sort of battle... and wow Curse is crazy taking out the attacker and the victim in the same turn! This was very entertaining, a completely different type of metronome battle!
That whole curse interaction was so cool and unexpected.

I love the title of this video 😂 Battle 1 was evenly matched, both in red HP at the end and I found the commentator's lines so funny at 4:02 😂 I love Miltank's Giga Impact of her rolling into Tauros. And wow, Tauros's Secret Power causing Miltank to fall asleep was lucky... or so I thought but Tauros's next attack missed then Miltank woke up the next turn 😂 battle 2 had lots of evasiveness/accuracy shenanigans, first Miltank uses Double Team, later Tauros uses Defog to cancel it out, then Miltank uses Smokescreen! Miltank hung on in red HP for a while but Tauros got her with Flail in the end 👏🏾 Miltank held on for a while in battle 3 as well, just as she got Tauros into red HP he took her out with Stone Edge! Well played on both sides 👏🏾
Battle 2, both mons had Anticipation then used Role Play and then Skill Swap

Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness allow a 2 vs 2 multi battle where each player uses 6 Pokémon for a 12 vs 12 fight. Would you be willing to do this or would this be too much of a pain to set up due to needing three or four GBA games? (you can use colosseum or xd as one player but you must beat the game to trade with the gba titles)
I don't know, I'd have to look into it first. Definitely don't expect it in the near future. Coincidentally I have an XD video coming out tomorrow.
