I appreciate the fact the he removed the can from the hopper but you tore the can up in the process so now you’re going to leave the customer with a half chewed up can possibly with a hole in the bottom that wouldn’t be waste management we would have a new can onsite with the old chewed up one brought back to yard .

Something like this, seems like something to get used to, throwing the bags in I mean realistically what can you put in them maybe fifty pounds in a good quality bag? I can handle that Wondering how these companies like Rumpke etc handle their bulk day or bigger ideas. Is a Residential Front Loader Driver expected to do something on bulk day or what if they can't lift something that weighs...idk, 100+ pounds? I could throw those bags around all day and get used to it in a couple weeks, looks fun + I like getting out the truck! I just worry about the real heavy stuff! Interested in applying to this, just doing my research!

You mean in the city of Columbus proper? I mean the city uses it’s own trucks for trash and Rumpke does recycling and yard waste. I know there are about 215,000 households that have residential service through the city. If we assume each route has 1,200 stops that would be about 36 routes per day in a 5 day collection week. This goes for recycling and trash. Yard waste is still collected biweekly so that’s half as many routes at like 18. So like Rumpke would have around 50 to 55 routes per day. I know at this point about 1/3 of recycling routes are with rear loaders and all of the yard waste routes so that’s like 30 rear loaders out every day. That’s just for Columbus proper though and doesn’t include any of the metropolitan area

I saw a few rl streets, left side of some busy one ways. A one way alley, and just a random street which I guess has “too many cars parked.” I was only there briefly. Saw a Rumpke loadmaster doing one way recycle. But all the carts were on one side. Didn’t want to be filmed tho
