    I have a Ruger Security 380. I love it. My wife loves Bersa 380s because of first shot double action. She has 2 Bersa Handguns, CC and Thunder. She is nervous of striker fire handguns. Our 380acp Defense Ammo is Lehigh Xtreme 65gr. 14 - 15 inch Ballistics. Ammo runs great. No malfunctions. Equal to 115 gr 9mm Ammo. I mostly carry S&W Shield Plus 9mm. Because of G9, Lehigh, Underwood ammo I bought and trust. I will carry 380acp without thinking twice.

    Get the carry. The elite sc is great but too chunky for carry. I had bought one and love it but it’s too wide. The GX4 carry is slim, well balanced, has a nice full grip with great texture.

    My 24 inch BCA side charger shot 85 grain (discontinued) barnes about 1.5". I was experimenting mainly with 130 nosler rdfs with 8208 xbr and they were about 1" at best. I cleaned barrel and shot hornady black into sub 1/2 " groups. For an upper that cost me $250 I can't complain at all. Truly. I will eventually get a better barrel but it's been fun seeing what I can do. I had a 223 wylde upper that I sold but it shot very very well with handloads as well. I have had to send things back but their service has been incredible.

    Good review. My security 380 will not run Fiocchi ftx hollow points. Will not feed all the way into breech. Stops right at the point where the barrel end flips up. Hitting the back of gun does nothing to help. Sent to Ruger, got it back and will not run the FTX ammo. Runs Federal and PMC fmj with zero problems (30 rounds each). Had 2 light primer strikes with ftx, reloaded and they fired. Any help with ammo selection would be appreciated. Armscor ammo I have bought - 22 TMC 4 overcharged out of 500, had to ramrod cases out of barrel, no failures. Dangerous? 22 magnum 400 rounds, less than 14 cents apiece almost 7 years ago, zero failures (Keltec PMR). 22 lr 500 rounds 5 under loaded and would not eject, sounded like a firecracker. Not bad for cheap 22 lr. S&W Victory. Fiocchi 22lr 500 rounds zero failures. Conclusion - Is it the ammo or the gun or both? In my case (380) it is the gun. Ran same ammo in 2 other guns with no problems.

  • @Spidermonkey2a
    @Spidermonkey2a15 күн бұрын

    Yeah that sounds more like a gun issue I'd have to agree with you there. This one was definitely an ammo issue as I've had terrible luck with Armscor before in 300blk especially.

    I just ordered a standard Gen 2 in .308, but it hasn't come in yet. I also, at the same time, ordered a Magpul Hunter stock, Arken SH4J, and a Timney drop-in trigger group set at 2 lbs. This is my ultimate overpriced "budget" build. I've never done any real precision shooting, so I wanted to build something I could grow into for a while.

    That is a common mudpuppy, they’re a fully aquatic species of salamander native to the midwestern United States and southern Canada. They’re actually an indicator species which means if Mudpuppies are present in a water body. That water body is very healthy and clean since they’re very sensitive to pollutants, even soap or the oils on our skin can hurt them.

    Hornady news! The decision was made to change the Hornady cases for the 450 Bushmaster from a small primer pocket to a large primer pocket. Cases produced from that point forward (in ammunition and as a component) will have the large pocket. This was done after extensive testing to confirm performance would not be compromised and was implemented in an effort to meet increasing demand for the cartridge. If you will be reloading with these cases, it will be necessary to keep the cases separated by pocket size, but load development will follow the same charge weights.

    This gun is a complete pass! before I even shot it, the hammer is short up in an extreme angle, bites the thumb. The grip doesn’t fill up the palm, but it pinches the second finger into the trigger guard, very uncomfortable. This gun should’ve never made it to market. No woman could pull the hammer back on this gun.
