Ok, So from what I've seen. You need to work on your braking points and try your best to stop bouncing off redline...Also, when your braking you don't always need to slam on your handbrakes...

You'll want to shift before hitting redline (at 6k rpm), as any higher rpm and the horsepower curve drops. Also, personal preference but ABS can help you brake smoother and end up giving you more speed through turns, as braking isn't just about slowing down but how it effects handling into corners (same goes with how front brake bias makes it less smooth, and you can't brake and turn without ABS).
