Hello, hello! Tom and Malorie here. A married couple who have two beautiful children. After trying so hard to relate to parents we often ended up feeling alone and un-relatable.
If you are feeling the same way, or you are on your way to parenthood, this is the place for you. This is where we speak the unfiltered truth and provide the nitty-gritty stories, experiences, and information about parenting. Come check us out every Wednesday - where we discuss what new parents need to hear and what current parents can relate to.
You can also find us on Instagram, Spotify, Facebook, Apple Podcast, and Twitter.

Interesting how the guilt topic even carried over into the raw talk about father's day. Do you think it's fair to say expectation is a precursor for guilt?
@@FlanHummus-cu9kl oh wow, what an interesting theory. That could definitely be the case although maybe context dependent? In the situation of fathers fay it seems that way for sure 😂 Would love to hear more of your thoughts on that!
Love raw talk
@@tracyknopp5454 Thank you! It is a great way to get stuff off our chest and dive into everyday real stuff. Thanks for your support!
I think the winner of the appreciation battle is....your kids! Bomb-ass parents being thankful and attentive
@@FlanHummus-cu9kl aww way to be neutral haha 😂 but love that
I've heard something along the lines of: "when the baby is sleeping, the parent should be sleeping". How long did this phase last? Were you taking naps in the daylight too?
@@FlanHummus-cu9kl It is a good idea to nap that way for sure 😂 babies nap lots in the newborn phase so at least 3 months! When its your second baby… that theory goes out the window haha!
Yay to 10 episodes 🎉
@@tracyknopp5454 so excited we made it this far and looking forward to our growth in the future! ☺️
ALL
Al tbe best!!!
@@vivianidelacerda9708 Thank you so much!! 🤞 😃
Do you have a love list that lists all the things that show love?
@@FlanHummus-cu9kl haha just a list in the good ol’ mental library 😂
I had no idea about the balding! You definitely need to coin the "reverse cul-de-sac"
@@FlanHummus-cu9kl haha yes we definitely need to do that 🤣
second pregnancy = father holds toddler
What about the pet's jealousy when people come over? Should people acknowledge the pet first or the child first?
It really depends on the household, the kids, and the pets so this is a tricky question but we would say acknowledge whoever comes to you first. If the pet comes to you right away it makes sense to greet them or vice versa. Also depends on what the parents would like too.
There's that scene in Friends where Rachel's water breaks as soon as she and Ross start getting intimate, was that your experience?!
Haha no it did not. Actually, only 11% of women experience water breaking during contractions. TV and movies definitely play into it as if it was super common!
They give oscars for supporting roles, so it totally makes sense that the supporting role in this situation is important too!
Good point! 😂
Wow what a crazy moment with everyone running in the room!!!
It was pretty crazy! All the things you never expect to happen…
I would love to hear about the mental state of you both in the first month of having baby home ❤
Youre in luck! A video just like that will be coming up in the next few weeks! 🥰
Do you have any photos of your swaddling attempts to make us all feel better about our own?
I wonder what Tom's heart rate was during that heart rate monitoring part. Glad everyone is ok!
That would have been really interesting to see 😂
Thrilling bonus story towards the end of the video keep up the great work!!
Thank you for watching!
100% no skid socks. Also a pen - the nurses always walked out with ours and we were meant to be keeping track of feeds and nappies and could never find a pen! 😂😂
Ah yes order yourself a 12 pack pen 😂
Just Subscribe... find your channel helpful now I know what to bring in that day comes...
When you say swimwear, do you think a speedo would be the best option?
Whatever it takes to make you feel empowered I would go for it!
What’s your take on crocs instead of non-slip socks?
Those open up many opportunities… having the 4-wheel option could really come in handy 😂
very informative great topic!
Hey, thanks so much! This was a fun video to make - something silly. We wished we had more information like this at the time of our birth experience so we thought it would be helpful for others!
