You really have a way with words! You should write a poem
@@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog I cannot take credit for that phrase. It's older than I am, and I'll be 75 on my next birthday.

Yah, agreed! I’m a baby when it comes to cold weather.

It has been five months since you made this video. No update?
Not yet :(. I keep a close eye on the community. Hopefully we will get more info soon!

Great video! I really like your content. Living in CLT now and coming from out of country, your content has been very helpful and reliable :)
Thanks! I really appreciate that! Please let us know if you need any help in your search!
This video was super helpful, thank you. I’m moving to Charlotte next year. Can you recommend safe neighborhoods? Preferably a walkable area, not directly located in Uptown
I’m glad you liked the video :). We did a video a bit ago about best neighborhoods in Charlotte that may help, Here’s a link:Charlotte NC TOP 7 Neighborhoods | Living in Charlotte NC | Charlotte NC Real Estate kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6Gco6-EaK2YYbA.html
Also, feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss what you’re looking for in particular!
Sounds ok, but I don't need schools and don't need to go shopping as I can just stay home and order, but I do go out to eat.
Fair enough! It’s a great town but you may be better suited for another suburb in Charlotte
you are 100 % correct i live in Huntersville and homes are still expensive but is hard to sell when you have interest rate under 3% and purchase the house before the covid .Love Huntersville great place and still developing
Yes! Super excited to see downtown Huntersville when they finish up!
I’m the one that takes care of the yard! Pretty neat to see my stripes from a Birds Eye view! Beautiful home
I love it! You do a great job

Yes!
2 small 4 that price
Thanks for feedback! We do already have an accepted offer on the home!
@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog oof... showed them lol. It ain't just the house it's the land it sits on!
Where are safe areas from floods and hurricanes?
This is the question I have.
Away from the coast is best ... the closer you get to the coast the more issues you have with flooding and hurricanes. We're here in CLT and are very insulated from much of that :)
Why isnt Robbins Park ever mention in all the Huntersville or birkdale videos I ever see? I know it technically in Cornelius, but it's 30 seconds from birkdale. lol
We mention it in our Cornelius video :). We didn’t mention it in the Huntersville video because Robbins Park is in Cornelius not Huntersville 😊
A ton to do. Yeah plan on sitting in traffic for about 2/3 of your life.
You just have to bring a nice book 🙃
I and my family lived there over 20 years
In this neighborhood? Or community?
Which state is better to launch a company? With regards to schools it is better to home school your kids or private school especially Montessori
It depends on what company and what’s important to you. Both have seen massive growth over the years
@@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog I want to build a birth centre
Thanks for this video. My wife and I are down in Blowing Rock NC being in this state for the first time as we reside in NJ. We are going to take a ride and look around at towns as we want to evaluate towns that are suburbs but close to a city and airport (1 hour or less), are safe, have parks , lakes, hiking, shopping and good food. If we were to go for the day , what do you recommend doing to get a good reaction to the city as a fit
South Carolina is the most beautiful of the 2
SC is beautiful
did i ask?
Did you ask what?
You got the income tax information flip flopped for the two states FYI
Looking for a week-end home cloae to charlotte that has activities for kids
Super cool! Are you looking for a waterfront home?
We are full.
They are still building….
Pretty solid video. Im familiar with all the areas you mentioned and you hit most of the points. Nice work!
Thanks!
I live in greenville and, and yes it's very nice, but the people that has been living here for years are beings pushed out for the ones that can afford the 300,000 .so I say again it's just not right what about the original residents ,of greenville sc.
Prices have appreciated!
Charlotte and the surrounding areas used to be nice until it got bombarded with outsiders from New York, California and Florida. Now it's a miserable place for those who were born and raised here, so much so that most of them leave. There's a reason that meeting someone who's actually from Charlotte is called finding a unicorn.
Do you still live here?
@@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog I live outside of Charlotte, but still commute there for work. You couldn't pay me to live in Charlotte.
Indian Trail and Belmont should've been on there!
Agreed! They were close, I think Belmont was 11 or 12 on the list
@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog is there a 11 to 20?
Charlotte and the surrounding areas are full until further notice…try Texas
I think there’s a little bit more space
Stop moving to either place !!!!!
Who are you talking to?
Very interesting. A fantastic home at a great price. Too much home for me as I'm in a downsizing mode. I'm in DC and think about relocating to VA or NC someday. Not in the market now but like seeing these examples.
Glad you like the videos :). Please let us know if we can help in your transition to the NC area.
Thanks now i know everywhere not to go in Charlotte
Glad we can help :)

😃
Great place if you want to sit in traffic half your life.
Traffic is fun :)
Traffic is a nightmare
It does get pretty congested

Been back and forth to Charlotte for years I'm a carolina panthers fan. Weird story from Washington DC (still like my skins but really panthers are primary) but I live in Atlanta. Do you consider this area better than Matthews or Belmont?
It’s been hard to be a panthers fan, so I commend you there! 😂. Matthews and Belmont are awesome places, but Ballantyne does tend to be a more desired area… the prices do reflect this though
@@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog yea panthers be letting me down lol sounds good thank you brother
North Carolina has roughly two cultures, East and West. The Eastern part was settled by more affluent people mainly from Southern England and because of that it has a non rhotic accent. Raleigh is the center of that culture. Since is historically was more affluent and being the capital, the area has Cary, NC which is a wealthy area of the Triangle. Asheville is also an Eastern city even though it’s in the West. This is because many rich people from Raleigh would spend summers there before air conditioning became widespread. The Western part was settled mainly by people from Southern Scotland and Northern England. The Western accent is by consequence, rhotic. By rhotic I mean the r is pronounced in words like mother and father instead of mothuh and fathuh. The Western part has also been historically poorer and the East has generally looked down on the West because of that. This is confirmed by one commentator here saying Raleigh is more ‘civilized’ which just proves the prejudice is still there. Charlotte broadly represents the West and its upstart reputation as the region has developed over the last 50 years or so. There are pros and cons to each region but know there is a rivalry between them that has been at times bordering on animosity and sometimes violent. Right before the Revolution we had the Regulator Movement (aka the War of Regulation) between the two cultures. It’s also interesting that at the time the Raleigh area was considered the western area of colonial settlement and Raleigh was made the capital due to it being more centrally located in the state.
Raleigh is more civilized. Better traffic. Better cost of living. Charlotte has more breweries, and more traffic… way more traffic.
Do you live in Charlotte or Raleigh?
@@LivinginCharlotteNC-Vlog I used to live in Charlotte, but after so much back and forth between the two, decided to move to Raleigh.
Charlotte is more of a city versus like a big town like Raleigh. Younger people probably will prefer Charlotte versus slightly older ones with children or even without children they probably will prefer Raleigh.
