  They all sound the same. Pop vocals with "heavy" instrumentals. And to be clear, it's the same for almost all male metalcore bands.

  No wonder bands old and new regardless of whose who and whose what are going back to when metal wasn't denigrating individuals and bands by their bloody gender! Women in metal, whether "singing" (another word for vocals, not female fronted, that ain't a job that's a political statement real women in metal don't want), growling, drumming, playing guitar or fetching beers (real metal fans know who that is) were just part of the bloody band. I've been a metalhead my whole life since before dudes discovered hairspray, and listened to bands regardless of gender and race, and who cares what they get up to in the privacy of their own bedrooms! This exclusionary crap is what's killing the one thing in this world that's giving me and millions of men and women just like me the strength to survive this effed up, putrid effing world. I say no to this sexist crap. 🤘🏻 🎸 🥁 🤘🏻

  The term "female fronted" is so cringy. Stop trying to make it a genre. They're bands with women in them. That's all. And to be honost bands like these perpetuate the term bc the presence of the woman is so clearly overblown to make it all about them instead of just being an equal part of the band

  Good selection here ! Knew some already, but discovered quite a few others too ! Also happy that its not just mainstream "big" names like Arch Enemy, Spiritbox or Infected Rain... but also some more "not so famous" ones. Cheers and some extra points for including Light this city ;-)

And Halocene is set to perorm at several huge metal events on their European tour, happening this year after they complete the stateside Group Therapy tour with Icon For Hire and Citizen Soldier First event will be Into The Grave in the Netherlands, then Download XXI at Donington Park, UK, followed by several smaller venues throughout Europe before hitting Full Force Festival and finally BasinfireFest in the Czech Republic!

  Shontay Snow/ Courtney LaPlante / Maria Lessing are my top 3. So good! With the exemption of like 1 band, this list was top tier.

  1) Excellent and impressive catalog! I love female voices in metal and only knew about 25% of the singers mentioned. 2) Thank you for expanding my repertoire of excellent female singers to such an extent. 3) Thank you for confirming to me just how vast is the glorious scrum, with Zora's voice, magnified by Blackbriar, millions of light years above it (to my ears). 4) Among the big absentees I would have mentioned Ifa and especially *Scardust*.

  Sorry it's me again, I hadn't watched entire video before you deleted the previous one. But I found another mistake. In 43:28 - Lina Victoria is actual vocalist of Sleeping Romance, but song "Fire & Ice" and their first two albums was sang by Federica Lanna. Lina Victoria was joined the band in 2020 and her vocal is only on their newest album. You don't have to upload this video again if it takes a lot of time. I appreciate your work
