Mines been giving me a promblem. Like it sounds like a squealing pig and it does like a weird kick back when I press the trigger. Anyone had the same issue?
what was the mistake? normally leave 1 bolt in and seat the bracket on one - then remove the 2nd and seat the 2nd?
@@mcknz2687 the mistake was buying the wrong brackets that didn’t work with the truck! Lol
@@kccreations5945 lol 😂 okay that makes sense - they look great! I’m searching for some options too
Great video, thanks for posting it. I was able to knock this out in about 20 minutes today and your step by step helped get it dialed in. Just an FYI, I'm off by 2 mph from Waze too. Not a big deal, before I was showing 70 and going 74 -75 which is what I was concerned about. Now I'm going 58-59 per Waze but the dash is reading 60. I'll take slightly under than way over. The shift points also seem to have been updated which is good, and I'm noticing more engine breaking when going down hill without applying the throttle.
@@bpmou9230 so glad it helped! And no 2mph isn’t bad! I didn’t really notice shift points but I’ll take it if it’s better! Thanks so much for watching!
Fuel pump module
Looks good man I got mine in my 08 tuner and it’s great
The oil is dark because it is the break-in lube. Break in lube is heavier because it is heavier so that while on the shelf the lubricate stays in place and does not drain off critical parts. You can find the motor oil standards on the back of the oil bottle. There really is not difference in the premium brands Amsoil, Royal Purple except price and marketing. Honda does not recommend using synthetic oil until after 100 hours of use to allow the rings to seat properly. Synthetic oil is too slick at first. I am a fanatic about my Honda machines and change the oil on average after about seven yours of use. Even if the machine runs for fifteen minutes I change the oil, clean the spark plug, clean the spark arrester and drain all fuel from the system including the tank. I also fog the cylinder to protect against rust. Used oil left in the machine can cause damage to the oil level sensor and basically gunk up the machine. When needed I want the machine to start and produce power asap. Personally Super Tech does meet the industry standards, but I would not use it my machines. Good luck on your trip.
When I bought my 21 Tundra, I knew one of the mechanics and he knew he was the only one that was allowed to touch it. After complimentary oil changes, I do it myself because I trust no one unless it was my mechanic, besides I know where he lives HAHA
Dude that’s a solid plan! Lol
Smart man 💯👍🏼
Are you still using this head unit? If so any complaints? Did you get the steering wheel controls working?
@@michaelfalgout5564 I am! It’s been good and I did get the wheel controls going! The one thing I would do differently is install the external microphone. The built in one isn’t very good. Also I think I didn’t make a certain connection because my bass doesn’t work for some reason… not sure why though!
Good old dealership mechanics 😆 Good thing it wasn’t your oil drain plug Austin 👍🏼
@@mikeyID but my oil filter housing was so tight I had to use an impact!!
@@kccreations5945 That’s crazy Austin. I do all my maintenance because I don’t trust the dealerships. Pretty sad when you think about it
Can this enable one to install a 360 camera into a tundra that doesn’t have it
To help with the excess water from the hose, open up your low level water drain (usually outside under the trailer near the rear) and open a tap. With the water shut off, most of the water should drain from the system, which should minimize the dripping from the water connect hose. Great video!
That’s a good point! Thanks so much!
Will this fit on a 2nd gen Sequoia?
Excellent video! How much weight can it support in total? I want to buy one so I can bring my wife to travel.

I had the dealer replaced the fuel pump and reflash my ecm. Problem came back 3 days later... Could there be a solution going with an aftermarket fuel pump? I need to take my truck back to the dealer but just don't have the time right now
@@Vlad-ss5pm yeah it’s a pain in the butt to get fixed! I don’t know about an aftermarket fuel pump, but maybe that would work! Keep me posted if you find anything that works!

I’ve never regretted my purchase! I will say if you are commuting a lot in it the mileage isn’t great, but it’s dang reliable!
Diablo? The new name is "Merlin" for 79 bucks at Harbor Freight.

This so a basic android head unit, they are all a crap shoot and take some time getting used to kinda hard to operate and they die suddenly, good luck...
Still holding up good?
whats the chance of getting a new discount/promo code?
Thanks Austin. Can you still use your plug for trail and the light bar at the same time? Also curious since this is an older video. Any issues with the wire splicing, quality of the light bar?
Next to the DYC videos, this is one of the best.
@@donaldredline975 thanks so much! Not sure who DYC is but I appreciate it! Lol
Very cool set up Austin! BTW, have you heard of the Garmin power switch? I actually have the Trigger 4 set up and I'm thinking of going to the Garmin. Look it up, I think it would be a great investment.
Is that the wireless trigger switch?? I wish I had heard of it before installing what I’ve got!
@@kccreations5945 Yes it is, I have the trigger system which is also wireless. But I'm thinking of going to the Garmin power switch, I think it's much better and I think you should do the same. Even though you went through all that set up, I think you should do this and it's a much better setup and it's all wireless. I believe it's worth the money I believe I will do the same. I wish I knew you personally, I would have told you about this lol. Stay safe brother, keep the vids coming!!!
Great install video Austin. Cool upgrade 👍🏼
Thanks so much!!
Not on mine. They won’t budge . old blade won’t move
That’s so weird! Try some pb blaster or wd-40 and let it sit for a bit!
Good video on saving money when building a tool kit. The one thing you forgot for the grand total for the people that don't have the membership to Harbor Freight is the $29. So even with that it would total about $210ish. Still less than the kit they sell and with more tools. Harbor Freight is my goto for tools I seldomly use and need only once or twice. I have mostly Craftsman tools for the more commonly used hand tools tools. No matter the tool manufacturer it is cheaper to buy sets over individual tools.
How does it hold up to going through car wash?

Break in oil for those small engines for me 1-2 hours 50% duty cycle under load…..change. Then change at 10 hours…..I usually run our generator a lot because we bush camp so. It probably gets 40-50 hours between changes then.
Not a bad idea but I might suspect that oil change should be frequently done, especially when these engines have small oil sump. My generator take about 600 ml of engine oil, and with the lack of oil filter, I just change the oil at 15 hours which is acceptable. However I buy oils in jugs as I will be set for a long time
@rukinehround965 I did mine a bit differently. I purchased a magnetic dipstick and ran the generator for one hour at idle and ecomode off then changed the oil. Ran it another hour at 1800 watts for one hour and changed the oil. Ran if for one hour under varying loads and then changed the oil These first few hours are the most critical to get the metal out of the engine. Anyway I average an oil change every seven hours. I also removed the magnetic dipstick as there has been many instances of the magnet falling off and damaging the engine.
@@TheMickeymental sounds like a great maintenance schedule and break in. Awesome.
Any vibration with these while driving? Also, did you notice an annoying whistle sound coming from the factory mirror?
I did 1’’ 3/4 on my Tundra and it’s sit at 39 in the front and 39 and a quarter in the rear.I think it’s perfect….
How’s it holding up? Mine lasted 2 weeks and started to short out.
Oh really?? That stinks:/ mine is doing great so far! Knock on wood!
Came here just to see how you removed the stickers so, thank you! I’m going to try the alcohol trick instead of rubbing compound like I did with the hard badge residue!
Hope it comes off easily!
Do those Vector wheels balance true to ride with no vibration in the steering wheel? I brought a set of aftermarket wheels and could not get them to balance for nothing. I went back to stock.
Excellent
Thank you!
at 29:25 of the video - that small black cable with the white roundish connector - most likely either factory antenna, gps antenna or XM radio. You should have a specific connector in with the new unit for that.
