I want to add, though I think serial killers should be left to deal with the torment of living, less violent offenders should not be treated as less than human. Treating a non violent offender as the U. S. does creates or has the potential to create a violent person. How does the home of the free have most people incarcerated than any other country?

These crimes are small in comparison to the crimes the Nazis committed during World War Two . The Nazis not only killed Jews , they also killed the elderly , the mentally challenged , gypsies , homosexuals , and others that were deemed undesirable to live in their society . The Nuremberg trials showed their brutality and many of the guilty were hanged shortly after their convictions . Mass murders of people have not ever stopped and history notes many killings throughout time .

I've been in a Juvenile prison since I was a child. I got a phone I'm not supposed to have to make this comment! They treat us like adult inmates I can't stand the isolation anymore I can't even breathe without fear of the guards and my fellow inmates assaulting me! I wish I never hurt anyone when I was free as a child but I may be here for a long time I fear I could take my own life, please if someone is out there please respond to me!
