A beautiful Vietnamese lady, her story: She grew up in Hanoi after the war, her mother died at child birth and her evil step-mother demanded that she was not to be a part of her new family and sent her to be raised by her old Grandmother (her father was somewhat of a broken man having fought in the NVA for years, his quote, “I’d die than live thru that again”). So, in her very early childhood she was “adopted” by her - beyond poor - Grandmother. Nothing to eat, never any new clothes, lived in a broken down shack but she did have 2 prized possessions, a small, black & white picture of herself at 6 (?) yrs old in front of her decrepit shack and a single pair of shoes, as in only one pair. These shoes she treasured to the point of preserving them by only wearing them to prevent being the object of ridicule thus, everyday she’d make the long walk to school barefoot, with her shoes tucked under her arm but when she got near enough and before any of her class-mates could see her, she’d put her shoes on and walk into school.

The Kensington Runestone is a hoax but a well done one that falls apart as you analyze the translation of the runes into far too modern Swedish dialect.

Watch both interviews , very touching story of true friendship and comradeship, two genuine hero’s , an inspiration to us all , if only more folks bonded like this pair we’d have a wonderful world , I salute 🫡 their service , I’m dual national 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇸 my father 🇺🇸 served in the military , he was an M P and guarded the nazis at the Nuremberg trials , one of his brothers landed at Omaha , a forward artillery observer (decorated) and another brother sailed his LST into Omaha 9 times , first wave included , his first load in , when the ramp dropped he lost most of the troops to machine gun fire and had to return to the mothership full of corpses , lest we forget eh ?

Political elites in the United States had 10 years to find victory in Vietnam. But their primary objective was not to win the war, but to receive kickbacks from the enormous amount of money that was used to fund the war. After 10 years, 58000 deaths, it became obvious. The resistance against the Vietnam war at that point was totally justified.

Most of the Vietnamese people were not and are not members of the Communist Party. Communism failed in Vietnam. It is essentially a capitalist country. They embrace green money, not a party affiliation. The same holds true in Laos and Cambodia. Socialism, communism and fascism always fail in every case.

Us combat veterans from WWII to Korea to Vietnam to my generations war on the war on terror we all have one thing in common. We are viewed different and I’d say people are at the very least very uneasy around us,,, which makes me uneasy. I know I’m different I don’t need to be made that way by others, I hate it when people thank me for my service I hate when they ask how many people did you kill, I get to the point to where I say not enough but I’ll stop at you 😂😂😂 they don’t get it but anyway I hate those questions and I really hate it when they say I could never imagine what you want thru ok cool don’t then and just shut up please

Thank you for your service, I was kid when we went to pick up my Dad coming home from Viet Nam and could not 46:18 believe the way the vets were treated. That has stuck in my mind for ever and will continue too. I am glad the soldiers are treated better now. But thank you very much.

Most vivid and Best Interview about Viet Nam I have seen so far, it's like being there and Feeling What E6 Lyle Bowes was feeling. God Bless and All Who Have Served. Those who threw tomato's and Egg, You are the Worse of the Worse these Men and Women were mostly drafted into service and were 14 to 19 years old, average age if I guess 19 years old, just think about that. Again God Bless them all, and God Bless America. Just Joe

So I am not a veteran, I am 42 years old raised in Medellin Colombia douring the 80s and 90s, I saw and experience things that I still have nightmares with, mostly people mutilating each other or me mutilating them, or me being chased to be mutilated. I cannot even imagine how veterans experinece PTSD. God bless you all
