With what is asked from that sport in particular, you may need something with a little bit better ankle support, depending on your style of play and position. @@rcowherd02 thanks for the feedback! They are not in my top-4 rotation. The toe-box area has limited padding so the material rubs your toes and irritates them a little bit in these ones. There are different material they make them with too so that may make a difference. Like these ones are like a plastic material and the purple suede pair is a softer material. Great idea. I may do one in the near future! Still sampling!

@@Irishimp Great question! Personally I would pick a color to “match” with a red jersey anymore. I use to would want to grab a red sneaker. Now I’d just pick a neutral color. Like black or while. If you’re asking this question in reference to the Kai 1…or another sneaker. But the reverse grinch isn’t bad if you’re just talking overall in general! Hope that answered your question!

Initially I went with the shockwaves but then after several wears of each shoe, the Kai 1 gave me more comfortability, more ankle support, toe-box protection, etc. The shockwaves are a decent sneaker but it feels that the Kai 1 was made with more premium materials. Also, the sizing issues. My tts is a US 11.0, but the shockwaves in that size gives me heel-slippage (you can combat that by purchasing a thicker insole and exchanging the one that comes in the shoe, which is something I didn’t want to do….Then the 10.5 in the shockwaves are too small when they bottom-out due to them being a narrow shoe.)….as far as the Kai 1 a US 11.0 is what I went with and is a heavier shoe, only thing is that I maybe shudda went with the US 10.5, but I didn’t want to take a chance on them being too small. Hopefully this answers your question(s)

@@timcocos3724 Very welcome! Yes, my initial thoughts from the unboxing only had the shockwave toolbox area with more comfortable material and less overlays. If you notice it’s just 1 cloth with the shockwaves…where the Kai 1 has additional paneling. The Kai one appears to have more premium materials (although it’s a cheaper sale price 💲🏷️

@@gokce4426 if you like a regular one-to-one fit, you can go TTS (true to size)… but if you are like me, and want that, super snug fit, and have a super slim/narrow foot, and once the snicker bottoms out after several wears to have them fit like a glove, then you can go a half size down.

@@gokce4426 That’s true! In that case to play it on the safe side I’d go true-to-size. Whichever your normal size you purchase. I just know with my experiences in the past with ADIDAS, I have to get them with my toe right up to the edge of the toebox, because after 4-5 wears and the shoe bottoms out it gives me that 1/8 of an inch that I need.
