Grant nailed it! All you need to know before you sign up a course is there. I joined this course in 2021 and it was a fantastic lifetime experience. Highly recommended, but far away from a cheap safari.

Common misconception that if you had a relaxed/decocked firing pin on a loaded chamber that it 'couldn't discharge'. Not true at all, the situation you described would mean that you have the pin under tension resting on the live primer, which would still be potentially dangerous (unless you had a floating pin). For a trails rifle the models that feature decockers (Blaser, some Sauers, etc.) would be fantastic and you could safely carry one up. They are just unfortunately really expensive.

Wow. Such a nice sight. I'd love to see Stompy (Lioness) again. The last time we saw her she was with other four younger lionesses. She took us by complete surprise as we went round a curve and boom she was right on the middle of the road. We followed her as she looked to be hunting. A little while later she went in the direction we had spotted her from and right there were f0ur more females lying on the road.

Exellent vid! i cant stress the importance of proper bolt manipulation enough! you are one of the few people i know who knows the importance of pushing the bolt inline with the rifle.
