The Italian Kendo Confederation (CIK) promotes the disciplines of Kendo, Iaido, Jodo and Naginata on Italian territory.
It is a member and, consequently, the only body in the territory of the Italian Republic, recognized by the International Kendo Federation (FIK - SportAccord member), by the European Kendo Federation (EKF) and by the International Naginata Federation (INF) for the management of the practice and the diffusion of the disciplines Kendo, Iaido, Jodo and Naginata.

As a member of FIK (International Kendo Federation), the Italian Kendo Confederation is the only entity recognized by Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei, the Japanese national federation, the undisputed leader in the world for the disciplines indicated.

The CIK is active internationally in organizing the major events of the European Kendo Federation and the International Kendo Federation.
