I almost feel like a rep for this company at this point but…I like my steez ct, met dc, zillion, bantam, and I love my bates hundo. That reel palms better than others and can do everything other throw large swim baits and it’s just because of the spool size. It feels old school and new school at the same time. I’d trade the met dc all day long for one. You should try one. Nice video as always.
@jimmypage2799 күн бұрын
My opinion for the met dc vs steez sv debate. Met DC: more refined, feels sturdier, smoother, and casts further in any condition. Steez sv less refined, in addition to feeling hollow I can feel the gears more and the reel just isn't as tight as the met dc. The performance isn't better, but is easier to dial w/o having to adjust spool tension knob. Steez sv also doesn't have over spool when you have the reel in free spool, the met dc occasionally does. Steez also casts with less effort but still feels choked. IMO Met DC wins this round quite easily especially once price is factored in.

Good vid dude! But man, I've gotta disagree with you on the Steez 24 on some aspects. I find it so good, in fact, that I sold my Met DC to buy another one. I'm up to four purchased now and HAVE been buying them direct from Japan for basically $300 less than what the US market is selling them for, which is nuts; no clue why they're charging this. Anyway, it throws further than my Zillion21...SLP Works Zillion AND Steez reels which was the first thing i noticed out of the box. Against the Met DC they were both throwing far and basically the same distance which is cool, but I'm more into accurate shorter casts these days equating to more times into the water...increased odds...etc... I'm skipping with it just fine but you might have a point with the SV Boost spools not skipping as well since they're a little more open after startup. I completely disagree with you on how it handles wind. Even on big lakes here in Texas on WINDY days it was considerably superior for me over the Met DC with regard to handicapping either reel too much with the braking. The Steez 24 boost spool is a new spool design from Daiwa with regard to size and width, just wanted to mention. The braking dial on the Steez 24 though...horrid...just horrid! You are right though, nobody should pay $750 for a reel...so there's that for context. And I do mirror your sentiment in a prior video where you basically preach a Zillion 21 or Bantam 22 is as far as you should look from either camp; spot on with this. Now onto the new Tatula...I actually like the way it looks minus the graphics and "Tatula" flair they kill the reel with. My first thought with regard to the design was it looks like it'll be comfortable in hand, especially resting your thumb onto the spool.
