  Its weird, not only do the offense have limited move sets or restrictions (as oppose to baskeball) it seems the defense does too. Seeing the lack of contested shot and thr shooter taking theirr time is weird

  Notice the commentators constant praising of the England team and the absolute last ditch attempt at the end to then try to give the last word of favour to there team of Rosez who were soundly FLOGGED! Our Silver Ferns were totally outstanding and shut the commentators with nothing short of UNNAH to the bias commentary. KIA KAHA!

  i dont see what you mean, thats how it is in netball. defenders can do whatever as long as they; a) dont make rough or pushy contact with the shooter, and b) dont have their arms over the ball within 3 feet (slightly less than a meter). this means that defenders have to use footwork and their body to constantly manoeuvre around the shooter to prevent them from getting the ball. basketball is about defending the player once they get the ball, netball is about defending the player so they dont get the ball

  @@bobatea5695 i’m saying they should allow defenders as close they can be without restrictions as long as they don’t touch the shooter. They are basically shooting open shots all the time. If all they care is to get the ball, don’t even bother defending cause doing so is pointless
