🚀 Digestible Law was created to help make learning law simple and accessible.
😎 When I was a law student, over-complicated textbooks and dry, poorly structured lectures from unenthusiastic professors caused an unnecessary amount of stress in my life. I knew that there had be a better way to teach this fascinating subject, where all the pretentious fluff is cut out and the relevant legal information is clearly and concisely presented.
👍🏻 This is precisely why I created this channel: I'm motivated to help you take the stress out of your lives, make learning the law more enjoyable, and give you the knowledge to secure the top grades you deserve!

Not to be weird but pregnancy is 40 weeks, 10 months. Idk why people don't know that it's 10 months. Full term is 40 weeks.
Thanks so much . The distinctions are clearly made and understandable. It helps to broaden my orison on the different types of trust . But please help us with case laws on the different types of trust mentioned.

Thank you
watched your videos 2 hrs before my trust paper. it's very helpful. Thank you.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie i życzę miłego dnia
Thank you, Gareth
You just have to be aware of what you are doing, I am glad my fiduciary led me through the right paths, its been greens
What is the name of your fiduciary ? I’m in dire need for one
Exactly my p.o.v ,one needs a FA to navigate the market properly. i also have who i work with
Yeah, I’m also closing in on retirement, and I have benefitted much from using a financial advisor. I didn’t really start early, so I knew the compound interest of index fund investing would not work for me. Funny how I pulled in more profit than some of my peers who have been investing for many years.
Sure, ‘Laura Grace Abels’ is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details on the web to set up an appointment
Her technical analysis is excellent and her interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Laura is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals
3:00 there in simple trust can be a trustee and beneficiary but that doesnt mean there cant be more than one trustee and one beneficiary. just understand this concept
Timeless information thank you for sharing!
I love the equity! It is in a bit of a revival now definitely. Makes sense to me. Especially perfect timing for the new age of higher conscious. We are more than human. We are moral sentient beings here in light and love.
so if it states in a will, they leave the private golf course for the benefit of their employees, im confused whether the term "benefit" either shows intention or it means that its a private purpose trust.
its confusing becuase although the vague term 'benefit' is used which i feel like doesnt show any intention, there is a clear direct command and no precatory words.
Love all of your videos on here Gareth. They are helping me a lot in assisting my elderly parents with a really messy property dispute in Court. I studied law some 20 years ago and I wish my Equity & Trusts university lectures had been as interesting and easy to understand as your bite size videos on here. Wishing you all the best with your legal career!!
So does Berrisford conflict with the reasoning in Lace V Chantler? i.e "end of the second world war" being a term making certain when the lease could be determined?
In the Blackacre example at 11:50 shouldnt the Unity of Interest fail due to the agreement saying "each" of Bill and Ben is liable for $1000 monthly rent? Doesnt this mean they are not jointly liable thus no unity of interest?
my jointly owned home owner has sent me an severence order but upon looking at paperwork noticed that there was a seven week gap from date of my joint owners signature and solicitors signature .i asked severence solicitor why and they stated that it was for joint owners son to explain of its occurrence...my dispute is why is the son acting when he has no power of attorney.upon this i never returned severence paper as i wasnt happy with it.....i also informed land registry and put an alert on my jointly owned home..
can i ask ? on easement revoking ? it is abusive perosn wiht esement has attempted remove land owner form land in easement giving acces when not given by land owner giving an easement? i have family being abuse verbally and police blocked to land even not in an easement. she was want way remove posiblely removing eaement returning land not given by deed ? is it legal take land form perosn giving easement not with land owners okay or signing it as such?
Hi. Is there a way I can contact you personally for tutoring services
2 parties (A) and (B) have Quit claim deed Joint Tenancy With The Right Of Survivorship Party A and B had a mortgage, Only Party (A) paid the mortgage. can a deed be changed legally by one party changing the Deed to a Warranty Deed without other parties signature naming himself (B)and his son as JTWROS? Party (B) states he is sole owner of the premises Does this mean Party (A) no longer has any share in the property?
My wife contributed more then $100,000.00 towards her fathers named house and cleared the mortgage and died whilst I was paying other expenses in the house . Does constructive trust arises in this case .
Since my mum died my siblings want me to deduct some of my inheritance from my mum as myself and my husband have brought half of my mum's 2rd home and it is a a joint tenancy which means the other half of the house automatically goes to us both now my mum has passed away. How much deduction of inheritance should I take off because of having joint tenancy property ownership?
Once again more useful than law school - my university has decided not to cover Joint Tenancy and Tenancy-in-Common in Land Law, and leave just two paragraphs on one page in Equity...
Excellent vid. Just what i was looking for to clarify schedule 3 para 3
Great. Cheers
Do you have the authority to put people on trespassing notice?
Thanks very much. Now I understand between tracing vs following
Is there a video on leasehold covenants?
Very interesting but I have a question if you don't mind. When purchasing a motor vehicle why is the certificate of manifest not given to the purchaser. Dose this render the State the one with any equitable intrest? Thank you.
I love your work. Is there a link to your slides. Iam after equity and trust law slides
Thank you!
Watching several videos on this channel to plug gaps in the materials provided by my training provider for the SQE1. Very helpful and crisp. Thank you very much for this.
Fantastic information, which has enlightened me. I am not in conveyancing or law, but find myself purchasing an unregistered property, where the Epitome of title is being transfered between solicitors. It is great to now actually understand what is happening :)
Could you make a video on exclusion clauses in trusts 😊
It is funny that my parents and grandparents didn’t have to worry about this crap. A thief is a thief it doesn’t matter if you can twist everything to justify to yourself that it is ok. I’m thinking the people obviously deserve what has happened.. it is written!! So I’m not surprised not one bit.
Can you explain how the Cestui Que Vie trust works in relation to individuals and fiduciary position. Thank you.
CAN YOU PLEASE STOP WITH THE NOICE, TICKING ON WHATEVER THE FUCK !!! 🤬🤬🤬
Hi, have you done any videos on power of appointment (as opposed to advancement). Many thanks - great vids FYI, very useful.
You explained it well. Would you kindly confirm my understanding of this scenario? If Dick and Jane have two children and in 1958 acquire property and create a deed that reads Dick and Jane, tenants in the entirety, the heirs to the survivor. In the following year, another child is born. My understanding is that jane and Dick possess life estates in the property and upon their death, The property goes to the children who were alive at the time the contract was created. But beyond their lives it goes no further including the this child born after the contract was made. Are contracts grandfathered to rules in existence when they were created? Thank you.
I know this video is quite old, but I just wanted to ask about the '90 year lease' part of Berrisfield as it is confusing. Where does this 90 year lease go, if it's determined after the life tenant has died? I don't really understand the process of what is occuring under LPA 1925 S.149. Thank you.
The video was rushed. No proper explanation compared †ø previous videos.. :/
The video is pretty much unwatchable as there is an ad every minute
Hey I think part 3 is missing!
Yes, part 3 is missing
If only you could cause yourself to speak in a manner not consistent with a haughty, staunch, wannabe English-man; then would the knowledge be more palatable for the listener, which you would share. I thank you kindly nonetheless for your efforts.
This is the most nauseating human I’ve taken 2 seconds to listen to. 😂
My father's will says that if my mother is unwilling to administer the trust that he and my mother set up, then I am to take over. He died. She is not providing an accounting of the trust, and sold property in the trust she had no right to sell. She is claiming that not only am I not going to get an accounting, but that she is writing me out of the trust. Is she allowed to do this?
We’re in a WHNMFIT trust publicly
❤❤❤❤
Great video, thank you. However, at the end you conclude that Sophie's interest is protected under s29 over Polly's freehold estate. My conclusion from this video was that Sophie's interest was protected by virtue of para 2 schedule 3? Thank you.
Hello, I have a question. Can one create a legal interest in an equitable estate such as equitable leasehold/freehold?
It"'s about good conscience before acting unconscionably just for money...
