  I don't know. She looks and acts like a boxer, but most FL shelter dogs have some pit in there. We are just calling her a mixed breed.

  Great training videos! Question, what would be your training tips for a herding breed who is not herding in their day to day life but is instinctively herding people in the home (lightly nipping their pants and ankles) when walking around the house?

  I have given the dog one dish towel in the house and one beach towel in the car that she is allowed to chew on for now, so when she feels the need, she has the outlet. As the dog learns what is appropriate to chew, I can remove the "woobies" and trust that she will choose to not chew or wait till i give her a toy. Hope that explains it.

  So ever time you want your dog to do something you just throw food everywhere your dog want respect you all it will see you as is a food dispenser

  Seems fine in the beginning. I mean the way that dog is jumping to get the toy proves she hasn't been taught manners yet. Safe is better.
