How long does flash’ hitbox stay out? It feels like even when i use a slower attack i still get hit by it his flash

That's an interesting question. I'm actually not sure. I would see if in training mode it says Active Frames in any of the display numbers. That being said, _when_ flash comes out will depend largely on the move that just got blocked, so that _could_ be why a slow move could get caught. I'd be hesitant to be overly aggressive against any yoshi online but flash is hard to use and some will be better or worse with it than others. Test them with dash blocking after scoring some plus frames, or after any of the flash traps I go over, and see if you can't bait it and launch it. Good luck out there 🫡

uf 1+3 is a literall mind fuck if the enemy doesnt know. you can either follow up with uf 3, or do the sweep, if they mash you can just do flash.

One more usage of Flash that I've found is for punishing opponent's frame trap setups. Its the same concept of setting up traps on -4 or better situations on offense. Kazuya Df3 gives him +4, and his most common move after that is Df2. You've got a huge window to Flash in there if he's being greedy. Jin also has a +0 trap, i think its Ff3 or Df3 and I Flash there too! Any frame advantage that's +4 or less can be Flashed, and thats only if they jab. On a lot of these they're looking for a higher reward, and thus slower, option than a jab. Lots of room to make this work in certain MUs

Completely new to tekken and fighting games in general, love the guides. Your voice is super chill, makes watching so much easier to watch and internalize esp since I am watching late at night. After watching just the pokes/gameplay guide my raijin friend told me I improved significantly + was able to climb from unranked to orange in a sitting. Hoping to become a solid player and commit more learning since i havent found this much enjoyment in competive games in a while (competed high level in fps only for a long time)

As for the move, I'm not sure exactly which helicopter move you're referring to, but try uf1+3 or uf3+4~1+2 and see if it's one of those. The input for Moonsault is qcf1, iirc, but I don't use that often after it lost it's unblockable properties, so you may be talking about one of the other moves. LMK if I can clarify any further. Seriously, I'd be happy to help! And keep grinding! Yoshi is a hard character to get used to with all his strange properties, situational moves, and nuances. Keep at it and it will start to click and on that note, you will slowly develop you're own style! Steal as much as you can from other Yoshi's! Good luck man! I'm always here to help! 🍻👹
