Hello Friends! I'm Ray and Welcome to the Port of Indecision!
Thank you for SUBSCRIBING to my channel and helping me grow past my initial 1k subscribers! I hope you'll subscribe to help me reach 2k subscribers!
The channel started shortly after I retired as a hobby to capture the travel adventures of me and my wife Patti. We love to travel by land or sea (cruise ship) and are usually accompanied by some of our friends that you'll get to meet in the videos.
The channel name, Port of Indecision, comes from a Jimmy Buffett song Lone Palm, and it describes our challenge… trying to pick travel destinations when there are so many great people, places, and things to see! We are Parrotheads and love music, beaches, and the outdoors so there will be lots of sandcastle and beach videos! The Port of Indecision allows us to share adventures with people thinking about traveling and also the memories made with old friends and the new friends that we meet along our journeys.

Great review of your cabin Ray
This was basically our room! We were in 9128, did have an over hang that he was talking about but LOVED the balcony while cruising the inner passage. The bed was incredibly comfortable, but I prefer firmer pillows, the hot water was never really "hot" but very serviceable and the fridge never got super cold and there wasn't an adjustment - very minor observations 😉 On day 2 I realized (learned) that with my drink package, I could get 2 "drinks" at a time so with the buffet right above us on 10, I'd walk up and get 2 diet cokes, or 2 unopened beers (I was drinking Stella Artois all week!!!) or water bottles, take them to the room, rinse - repeat and I had a stocked fridge!!! I really did enjoy the cruise and look forward to the next one!!!
Hi Steve! Thanks for watching and sharing your comments. You touched on two items that I totally forgot after being off of the Summit for a few weeks. I agree that the hot water was never really as hot as I would like it and also our mini fridge kept drinks cold but not ICE cold. I also agree that these are so minor and I didn't bring them up with the cabin steward or they probably would have been addressed. Having the drink package is fantastic especially when you utilize the fridge in your room. We were cruising Carnival with our kids back in the 90's so we never got to sail on a Celebrity Century class ship, but I'm sure if it was Celebrity it was first class. Your FL to LA to Vancouver trip sounds like a wonderful journey, I'm sure it included going through the Panama Canal. That storage space on top of the closet is kinda awesome
It was very handy to place my backpacks on top of since I was using them throughout the cruise. It kept me from having to get down on the floor and pull them from under the bed. Thanks for watching and sharing a comment.

This could be more dangerous than a bison encounter ....
I agree! There are signs everywhere warning hikers about moose and how to handle an encounter which is counter to meeting up with a bear. They are peaceful unless they have babies, then they will kill humans for their flesh for the babies to eat.
Unless you've next to a moose you can NEVER comprehend how huge they are. Magnificent.

Why are people stupid? Leave wild animals alone. That stick won't do anything if the moose charges.

We were on a guided tour and only walking on a trail in Denali about 100 yards from the visitors center when we crossed paths with this moose. This happens quite often in National Parks, it was a chance encounter and the moose and our guide handeled it well. I agree with you that the stick would be useless, but this was our guides first encounter with a moose and I think he was just trying to distract the moose away from his tour group. It was a very memorable experience that lasted 0:15 seconds. Thanks for watching and subscribing to the Port of Indecision.

Last winter in Maine I was watching a moose from 50yards then suddenly 5 ft away..it was scary..
Our guide was a great protector! With his stick! But really, he did a great job!
It was an experience of a lifetime! It's Murphys Law that when you are looking for wildlife it sneaks up on you. Pretty hard to believe that a moose that size can sneak up on you, but it did. Thanks for watching.

We are pretty excited! Starting off this morning with a 2 hour delay. A flight attendant was ill and they bumped 18 passengers from the flight. So not complaining because we weren’t one of them.
We definitely overpacked for our trip.

Hello Ricky, thanks for your comments and I'd like to invite you to subscribe to the Port of Indecision as I have additional Scotland videos that are posted and additional ones like the one I posted today on Lewrick, Scotland Mousa Island. We did an 11 day itinerary last June and had a wonderful time and you are correct the weather treated us well. The one drawback was it was so hot during our trip, but there was no air conditioning and they also don't have screens so we had some hot evenings trying to sleep, We started our trip in Edinburgh then on to St. Andrews before heading north stopping in Pitlochry. We then continued Inverness and visited a number of castles on the way, filming locations from Outlander as well as the Culledon Battlefield. We then headed to Loch Ness before going west to Isle of Skye for a few days. On our way back to Edinburgh we stopped in Glencoe, Ft. William, and Stirling. It was a wonderful trip and would be happy to answer any questions. I also have a video on Stirling Castles in one of my playlists. We visited 9 castles during our travels; Cawdor Castle, Urquhart Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, Dunvegan Castle, Stirling Castle, Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle, Doune Castle, and Edinburgh Castle.
