Sheryl's voice is like wine, it gets better as the years go by. I believe that her voice reached maximum vocal harmony after the age of 35. However, this rock version of Sheryl is interesting

She was amazing. Impressive that she was able to continue to perform at the highest level for over 25 years. I hope that her career is recognized as one of the greatest in some way. She should be in the Hall of Fame (Rock and Roll). I wish that I could have witnessed her greatness in real time. Appreciate KZread and The Lost Tones turning the clock back. Mostly, thank you Joan Osborne.

Wow, never saw this recording before but it's magic. Billy's vocals were perfect and the band was so in the pocket. Man I miss D'arcy.

Been watching a lot of interviews with and about the band. I remember the Behind the Music where Billy was saying how James should have asked for help on his solo record…well I guess now I get why lol.. by the way James solo record is nothing like SP and pretty good. I guess he just wanted his own input and stand on its own.

I've been listening the SPs since 2011, and after so many years, I've realized that Billy never took proper advantage of D'arcy's voice. You can hear her in just a bunch of songs, from the whole catalogue of songs when she was part of the band. Corgan was always trying to make his voice fill all ranges possible, living little to no room for a proper back-up voice. And THAT was such a lost opportunity, because i really loved her voice every time you heard her. And that's not gonna change, because D'arcy won't return (and i don't know how she sounds today), and i highly doubt that their new guitarist Kim would sing back-up vocals. Who knows, but Corgan's not the kind of guy to sing with back up vocals lol

on the contrary, he took full advantage of it and of her - he had her record vocals on at least the first few albums, full vocals, and he used her vocals as an effect on his own voice. i know he did it on at least Gish and Siamese. that's why he sounds so good. this info came out during one of their public spats in the last 10 years, and was confirmed by the band Filter, for whom D'arcy also once lent her voice as an effect on some songs.
