    Yep. .40 is an underated cartridge, but the P2000 is an overrated pistol in my opinion. Nonetheless, glad to have it in my collection.

    I like your videos. Good content. How do you like the GG short reset trigger compared to the standard Glock trigger? Worthy upgrade? Also, did I hear a false reset on the GG trigger? This is the second video where it seems like I'm hearing a false reset on the GG reset. Thanks for the clarification

  • @Electroniclizard
    @Electroniclizard8 күн бұрын

    Thanks! I have not really noticed a false reset on the GG kit. GG vs GPT? GPT is easily superior IMO. The GG kit definitely improves on the HK trigger, but it is still not great. The GPT, on the other hand, is quite good. That Canik Rival is something else though.

    No mush from having to pull back the striker all the way on a regular trigger. Any issues with trigger reseting slower after large round counts? Just got it, about 500 rds through. Seems to only happen at 200+ rounds in one sitting, after cleaning it fixes it, love the trigger just hoping it breaks in well and removes that issue. I did confirm I got the newest version. Zero other issues, can shoot 5 inch groups unsupported at 25 yards a lot more consistently which im exceeding happy with lol

    @@Electroniclizard yeah i'm assuming there will be a break in so it self polishes, im not a big fan of doing my own polishing id rather let it happen naturally. The "cruciform" or what used to be rides over a rail, as that gunks up that reset spring is probably having a harder time pushing it back into place in the little metal catch. Im greasing this boi up for the next round of testing. Still better than even my gen 5 with 12k rounds through it that is extremely nicely broken in, that mush just gives to much room for error on long shots.

  • @ytucharliesierra
    @ytucharliesierra9 күн бұрын

    Glad this gun works for you. I have the original HW40 from Weihrauch and I am quite satisfied with it. Indeed it is pricier but it is yet another generations gun from Weihrauch. Concerning ammo you might want to try the Excite Econ II pellets from H&N if available. They are in the low price range but my HW40 loves them. Using those, I've once managed a one hole group with about 7 shots at 15 meters (though rested and with a small scope) but after what I have heard about the Beeman P17, chances are that it is just as capable. This gun needs somewhat lighter pellets such as the H&Ns mentioned above that come with 7,41 grains as it generates a mere 2,5 foot pounds muzzle energy, approximately. Those are flatheads and I have to say that flatheads are my personal favorites as well. If the Excite Econ IIs or some other flatheads deliver good accuracy, the fun with this gun is endless!

    Seems like the v2s are not as good as v1s

  • @Electroniclizard
    @Electroniclizard9 күн бұрын

    I'd say it's better than the v1. The v1 was indeed lighter, but it had very weak reset, and the trigger shoe often felt kind of "sticky" for lack of a better word, both during live fire and dry fire. It is possible to swap the lighter connector into the v2 if you want, it's pretty easy (see my earlier review of the v1). At least on my example, the v2 does not stick or bind at all during either live fire or dry fire. So, in summary, I think the v2 is an improvement, and I really like it. The v1 I kind of hated.

    You know how to test rifling twist? You can use a cleaning rod with a tight fitting, bore brush. Pull the brush into the bore. Make a hash mark on the rod at the muzzle. Pull the rod until it make 1 complete rotation. Make another mark at the muzzle on the cleaning rod. Measure the difference between the two marks. It'll be essy to tell the difference between 1-7 & 1-12. The bore brush will slip a bit, so the measurement won't be exact. Might be off by 1/2 to 1 inch.

    those roll pins are used because of the rails, on the glock the rails are molded into the frame. The Dagger rails are inserts into the frame supported/held-in by the roll pins. The rear rail inserts and the trigger bar are metal to metal which makes the trigger pull feel smoother than the gen 3 or gen4 glocks. on the gen5 when glock made the ambi slide drop which help on the trigger pull.

  • @Electroniclizard

    Thanks for the post. Yes, there is a reason they used the roll pins, but I still have a strong preference for solid pins. It is interesting....many people trashtalk the Dagger trigger, but it seems that after a break in most (myself included) are impressed by it.
