Fragrance reviewer, olfactor and perfume collector.
First of all, I'd like to welcomes you to my humble channel here on the tinterweb. I wear fragrance, I love fragrance, and I enjoy talking (usually a shit load) about them. What you see is what you get with my channel, so basically, a shit quality camera and a garage interior sometimes works wonders when wanting to find a different type of video on perfumes/fragrance reviews.
I just enjoy talking (and again; usually a S H I T L O A D about fragrances!).
So if you enjoy hearing about fragrances in some detail, from classic, all the way to more recent perfumes, then I welcome you a second time. I will see you all in the comments of my videos, my live streams, and the next video :)
Keep smelling good!
cheers!

Great video , 👍 I recently purchased this , i like it, i think its like Calvin Klein Reveal mixed with Joop Wild .
Doesn't last tho😢
Force Majeure is so underrated from the Jaques bogart collection
A great budget oil brand. They carry a lot of dupes of designer perfumes, and most of them are impressive. Some are borderline better than their reformulated counterparts. Why do we bother with $300 synthetic ouds made by French perfumers for designer brands? Might as well buy oils from the UAE. They're affordable and well made. You mentioned Saat Safa, it's one of their best. I agree, a deeper and more sophisticated alternative to Sondos. If you haven't tried any more from the brand, I recommend Sultan Al Oud (smoky, leathery oud) , Dehn Al Oud (animalic, spicy oud), and Musk Makkah, which is a bit like a mix of Saat Safa and Dehn Al Oud, very strong.
The best cologne for me. Been wearing it since 1989.
Muguet IS lilly of the valley...
pronunciation = je re-VYEN. The original was discontinued by the end of the 1980's. The subsequent reformulations were shadows of the original. Until we got Je Reviens Couture in 2004, which is a rare reformulation that is almost exactly as the original was (which I remember). It's interesting that you call it "otherworldly," as a dear friend who has significant experience in the perfume industry always says it smells like a ghost. Name comes from a poem, from which each of the Worth fragrances each take a line - Dans la nuit, Vers le jour, Je reviens, Sans adieu. p.s. it's better to not rub after you spray since it breaks down the top notes. Thanks for a good review!
Thank you for this powerful review of this Gaultier² clone. Mission accomplished. Package received today. Crying as if back to 2005 Gaultier² days.
Just got me a 50ml vintage bottle of Tommy for 29$
the original xs was my fav, but if the liquid is purple is not the 1994 version. if im not wrong
I love the smell .
Hi Matt I have something classic very less pertains to late 80s aftershave need your help to find it no brand name or any information visible From india
I absolutely in love with this fragrance!
This is a masterpiece. Gives off a classy vibe when clean and well groomed. High quality for the cheap price. Noses who are used to todays sweet, bubble gummy, playful, youthful standards tend not to like this.
Hey sweetie!
Someone advertised a bottle of 1994 on ebay. I buy it. When I opened it up it looked like that bottle so I got a refund and left them their first neg.
Also Je Reviens is a totally feminine fragrance definitely not unisex in my opinion the masterly use of narcissus as a mid note completes this parfum as a super heady white musky floral, to fully appreciate Je Reviens I urge you to try the extrait you won't be disappointed, it is still available in either the 1 fl.oz or the larger 2 oz blue/green flask, heavenly juice...
Love Aramis
Hola en donde vivo hay una perfumeria q venden muchos perfumes vintage, entre elles horizont de guy laroche en sus 3 tamaños. Originales de 1994. Yo vivo en Buenos Aires. Un saludo muy grande!

Ciara 100 strength is a wonderful powdery feminine spicy, woodsy, warm, amber-y fragrance!! Love it so much, it's just incredible! One of my favorites!✨️✨️✨️
Hey. If you haven't already. Have look at Roberto Capucci HIM 😉 Could be something for your collection. I got my bottles recently and wow. It is a creamy cacao classic scent (not oversweet). It goes in the direction of Marbert Man Pure & Battistoni Marterosso.
You are BANG ON ABOUT Sultan- Its terre de Hermes similar
Good video :)
How does boss One in the new bottle compared to the old one you are reviewing?
Brought this on my holiday to Egypt out of the duty free absolute beauty Would definitely purchase again it's just a ridiculous price.
Hey. Really nice green classy fragrance. When watching this review, my SOTN = also a classic -> Helan Rhum & Vetiver 😉
This is still the KING of clubbing btw you’re missing some notes on your list
I remember trying some in the late 80's when I was 22, and it ruined my day - I really like it, now!
Where can i find a bottle ?
eBay is your best option! Or perhaps try looking in thrift shops?
It makes absolutely no sense that this fragrance has been discontinued. It perhaps is the most classic men's fragrance ever released. Timeless, iconic yet discontinued?!
I still have mine. About half a bottle left and wearing it now.
My grandfather used to wear it. Memories
What a load of absolute shite
hi and I thank you for your videos and for your work congratulations, you should continue to make them it's great for us who love perfume and especially vintage classics, could you make us another video on Balenciaga for man 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just got it. Love it. Smells like a cage of civets. In a good way.
Who was that male model for the ad?
Matt, I don’t know if you read the comments, but I love your channel so much. Thanks for reviewing fragrances like this.
My goodness! The vintage is so amazing! Its such a shame that it was reformulated. I still wear it during the colder months, but its almost just a shell of its former self.. It was almost an edible dna, people would ask if anyone made caramel popcorn, or baked cookies or cinnamon rolls whenever id wear this, just sublime... So sad, truley 😢😢... Great review and thanks for revisiting this awesome fragrance, brings back so many Clubby memories
Looks as if I'm watching a early 80's programme with the smooth song on the back ground and the image very retro feeling.
America fuck yeah!
What a classic… not only the fragrance, but this video….
I ordered Dakar and Silver and am looking forward to seeing what they are like. I have like 60+ fragrances, but don't have any attars.
Hi Matt! I love your videos. Try testing from Avon Class Act , Avon Signature and Destination Grand Canion. 👍👍👍
I think colognes like Preferred Stock, Gravity and Aspen might have been designed for the younger crowd in the early 90s. But those young men grew up and now those colognes are an older men’s fragrance.
This parfum is dupe of some other parfum??? The my is over and i feel sad because zara dont sell this anymore
Just got mine love it❤
I believe my my older brother got this cologne as a gift in the early 90s. I plan on wearing it tomorrow
Always liked Quorum , still valid today i reckon, its got a warmth to it ,even tho its a mossy oakmoss herbal type scent. It was a fantastic performer back then. Can’t get it now - I’ve got ‘vintage’ bottles, but it’s NOT the same. I recall it being really powerful, and lasting. In the 80’s and early 90’s ( im old. technically I’m ageless, being the unborn formless awareness, but this body is approaching 65yrs ) Its a great one tho - Quorum. Kouros is awesome too- in a different way. A little more aggressively masculine, i would dearly love to find some vintage kouros - i recall smelling it on someone else. A fellow inmate of a halfway house. We were in there together for a short while . Brighton , Cromwell rd. God bless you mate - salute. But the scent struck me and really seemed the best thing in the world - Of course we were treated to the full impact of the opening of ‘vintage’ kouros which he applied liberally and often, God damn. Those things are unrepeatable tho. 🥂Cheers 👍
Best soapy for me is Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. Great video. Click that like button people!
